How Tinubu stopped Jonathan in 2015👉 Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu personally financed former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s vice-presidential campaign during the 2015 general election and spent more than ₦2 billion to hire political consultants linked to former United States President Barack Obama.

Speaking in an interview with Symfoni TV released on Saturday, Lawal recounted Tinubu’s role in the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign that led to the election of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Lawal, Tinubu mobilised significant funding for the APC campaign and separately financed Osinbajo’s campaign activities, which he said operated largely independently of Buhari’s main campaign.
