CHIEF BARR. SA HANNY WOKO CALLS FOR UNITY, URGES OPPOSITION TO EMBRACE THE GOOD GOVERNANCE OF GOVERNOR FUBARA

In a powerful appeal for unity, Chief Barr. Sa Hanny Woko has called on political opponents to put aside their differences and support the current administration for the greater good.

Speaking at the official flag-off ceremony for the Obio/Akpor Chairman’s Lodge, a landmark project conceived by Hon AMB. Chijioke Ihunwo as part of activities marking his first 100 days in office, Chief Woko reaffirmed the legitimacy of the leadership in place.

" This Game Is Over. Better Return Home And Support Good Governance." he declared, urging all stakeholders to reject misinformation and divisive narratives spread on social media.

He further emphasized that the duly elected leaders, including the Chairmen and the Governor, are firmly in place, urging opposition elements to come to terms with this reality.

"The earlier they realize this and come back home, the better for everyone," he stated.

The event, attended by key political figures and stakeholders, marks another milestone in the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development and effective governance in Obio/Akpor.

“Just because you get married to a rich man doesn't mean you have to get half of his wealth and end up rich after divorce.

Divorce has become a very lucrative business for women in the United States and I'm gonna put an end t it. If a woman marries a rich man, it doesn't mean she gets to leave as a rich woman after divorce.
If upon divorce the woman needs money, the man can borrow her a maximum of $1-million if she has a colleteral. $1-million isn't alot of money for the rich man but it should be a lot about for the woman because she didn't work for it.

If I'm worth $50-million, I'm not gonna give you $25-million after divorce. It's my money and I worked very hard for it. I don't care if we've been married for 6 years or even 25 years or even have children. If you don't have enough money to take care of our children, leave them with me. Wike Revokes Bayelsa, Imo Govs, Senate Leaders, Anyanwu, Nnamani, 563 Others’ Land Over Non-payment For C-of-O

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Nyesom Wike has revoked the land allocations belonging to some governors and other political bigwigs.

The Bayelsa and Imo States governors, Senator Diri Douye and Senator Hope Uzodimma, Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu are among the 568 persons whose land allocations in Maitama II, Cadastral Zone A10, Abuja were withdrawn by the Minister.

According to Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister, withdrawal of the Right of Occupancy, R-of-O of the 568 land allottees were consequent upon the expiration of the extra two weeks grace period granted them to pay their Certificate of Occupancy, C-of-O bills.

Other prominent Nigerians among the 568 allottees are former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro, Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, federal lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwole Oke, among others.

It should be recalled that in early October 2024, a total of 3,273 were offered two weeks to pay their bills or lose their R-of-O titles, out of which 2,511 complied, leaving 762.

The 762 allottees were further allowed another grace of two weeks to pay, but as at January 15, this year, 12 days after the expiration of the weeks, only 194 paid, leaving 568.

The Notice of Withdrawal of Right of Occupancy in Maitama II, Cadastral Zone A10, Abuja, sighted by our correspondent reads, “The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA wishes to inform the allottee(s)/ title holder(s) of plot(s) of land in Maitama II, Cadastral Zone A10, Abuja who have failed to make payment for their Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) bills after the expiration of grace period granted by the Honourable Minister, Federal Capital Territory that their Right of Occupancy to the land/property have been withdrawn, pursuant to the provisions of Section 28 of the Land Use Act of 1978 for contravention of the terms of grant which obligated the title / interest holders to settle all bills.

“The general public is, however, invited to note that allottees/title holders who have completed their payments on or before 15/01/2025 are not affected by this publication.”
