Q: What should I expect when I read HER CHAINS, NOT MINE?

A: My book is not a thriller. I never wrote it with the intentions of sending chills down your spine.

It is a story of hope, forgiveness, of how beautiful it is when believers see the need to intercede for the most unlikely people.

You should expect a deeper understanding of how God is involved in the life of genuine believers and the consciousness of Abba even in your workplace. You will have to pray towards the end too.

Q: How did you get the idea to write Her Chains, Not Mine?

A: This question reminds me that I must never joke with any time I have to commune with the Holy Spirit.

I wrote this book about two years ago while I was still waiting for admission. It was saved on my mother's PC for that length of time.

Now, as for the idea for this novel, it is inspired by the Holy Spirit. I'm certain of this because I have not written anything, including my first novel, that is so detailed and insightful.

I know many times that fiction writers include their personal stories to craft out a book, but there's almost nothing about me in this novel.

I'd even have to include that the title of this book came in a Thursday prayer meeting in my fellowship.

So, the Holy Spirit is the inspiration behind Her Chains, Not Mine.

Q: Why did you write Her Chains, Not Mine?

A: I wrote this novel to make every Christian understand that there is no such thing as coincidence in their lives.

Whoever you meet at any moment in your life is there for a reason. Every incident in your life has a purpose too. Many times, we close our eyes to this reality.

There is no casual relationship for you, dear believer. Learn from Jesus. He was intentional about everything and everyone that came His way.

He saw a fruitless fig tree and also saw a sermon on faith in it. He saw the woman at the well and saw a potential evangelist that could bring the city to him. Do you see?

I have been to God for Her Chains, Not Mine and one of the things He told me was to begin this series.

So, in this series, I will be answering at least seven interesting questions you may likely have about my upcoming novel.

Q: What is your book— Her Chains, Not Mine about?

A: I'll do my best not to include spoilers but I tell you the truth, this synopsis is only a tip of the iceberg.

My book is a work of fiction that tells the story of two unmarried young women from different families.

One of these women is a successful, hardworking Christian. The other, in a series of events, ends up as a school dropout and drug addict.

God is in the big picture all along as He desires to restore the unsaved young woman, one conversation at a time.

Why you're not reading it right!

Apparently, inspiration has led many to compare life with a multitude of things (sometimes, very weird things!)

But I'm inclined to compare mine with a book.

Have you ever tried reading a book upside down?

In that moment, every word there loses meaning; it becomes another strange language altogether!

The earth is revolving but does that imply we must view life from a wrong perspective?

If you are getting pi**ed about life and where you should heading to, perhaps you're not reading it right!
