With the APC candidate refusing to engage with the media, Mr Oshiomhole has led the attacks on his behalf. Unsurprisingly, he seized upon the marital comment, responding by stating that the governor and his wife have no children and have refused to adopt. https://snip.ng/KdGRS

Wizkid bringing stable electricity to over 36 states in Nigeria 🇳🇬 😳
Morayo is doing what no one ever thought of before 🔥❤️

What happened ??

Early in the morning today, i was in Lagos watching the the snippet of wizkid Morayo album which he posted yesterday. There was no electricity for the past 3 days in my area so I closed my eyes and shouted 3 times “I AM MORAYO, I AM MORAYO I AM MORAYO ELECTRICITY WHO ARE YOU?” Boom light came back in over 20 states in Nigeria 😳

Moral lesson: I’ll advise every Nigerian to start shouting “I AM MORAYO” everywhere because This Life is just like Kpomo

The World Bank Group has disclosed that the Nigerian Federal Government is currently repaying $10.6 billion in loans obtained under former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, and Goodluck Jonathan.

This debt encompasses at least 69 loans secured between 2000 and 2014, highlighting ongoing financial obligations that strain the country's resources.

As of March 31, 2024, Nigeria's total domestic and external debts reached N121.67 trillion ($91.46 billion), with domestic debt at N65.65 trillion ($46.29 billion) and external debt at N56.02 trillion ($42.12 billion).

The loans include significant projects such as the Community-Based Poverty Reduction Project and the Second Primary Education Project from 2000, among others spanning several years and totaling over $8 billion from 2006 to 2014 alone.

This situation raises concerns about Nigeria's long-term borrowing sustainability, especially as $15.55 billion was spent on debt servicing between 2019 and 2024.

At Least 9 Dead, 300 Injured in Lebanon Walkie-Talkie Explosions – Health Ministry

Lebanon’s health ministry said Wednesday that at least nine people were killed and 300 wounded by exploding electronic devices in multiple regions of the country.

The explosions came a day after an apparent Israeli attack targeting pagers used by Hezbollah killed at least 12 and wounded nearly 3,000

Wednesday's blasts, according to the Lebanese health ministry, were caused by walkie-talkies that exploded under unknown circumstances.

Lebanese Health Ministry officials confirmed that emergency services were working tirelessly to transfer the injured to hospitals.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has expressed deep alarm over the widespread explosions, calling for maximum restraint to prevent further escalation.

Guterres urged the conflicting parties to immediately cease hostilities and restore stability.

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have been simmering, with exchanges of fire occurring almost daily since October 8.

The conflict has displaced tens of thousands of people on both sides of the border, with hundreds killed in strikes in Lebanon and dozens in Israel.

Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, has declared a "new phase" of war, praising the work of Israel's army and security agencies.

However, the Israeli government has not officially commented on the explosions.
