Top 3 tech roles you can get into without coding

Many people think tech is only for developers, but that’s far from the truth. Here are three high-demand tech roles you can get into without writing a single line of code:

🔹 1. Product Design (UI/UX Design)
Product designers focus on creating easy-to-use and visually appealing digital products. You’ll learn tools like Figma and understand user research, wireframing, and prototyping. It’s about solving problems and creating great user experiences – not coding.

🔹 2. Product Management
Product managers are responsible for setting the product vision and working with designers and developers to build solutions users love. You don’t need to code, but you’ll need strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

🔹 3. Technical Writing
If you’re good at writing and explaining concepts simply, technical writing might be for you. You’ll create user manuals, help documents, and articles that make complex topics easy to understand – without any coding required.

The tech space is wide, and there’s room for you even if you don’t want to code.

Which of these roles interests you the most? Drop your thoughts in the comments.

Here’s the truth:

Tech is one of the few fields where skills and results speak louder than your certificate.

Many people in tech today studied something completely different – what matters is your willingness to learn and take action.

Do you ever feel like you're not making progress in your tech journey?

Like you're not sure what your next move should be, or whether you're even on the right track? If so, you're not alone.

It's perfectly normal to feel lost or uncertain at times, especially when you're pursuing a career in technology.

The truth is, no one has it all figured out. Even the most successful people in tech had to start somewhere, and they probably had plenty of doubts and setbacks along the way. But the key to success is to keep moving forward, even when you're not sure where you're going.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you navigate your tech journey:

1. You don't have to have it all figured out right now.

It's okay to take things one step at a time. You don't have to know exactly where you're headed, as long as you keep moving in a direction that feels right to you. The important thing is to keep learning and growing, even if it's just a little bit each day.

2. It's okay to make mistakes.

In fact, mistakes are an essential part of the learning process. Don't be afraid to try new things, even if you're not sure they'll work out. You'll learn more from your failures than from your successes, and each misstep will bring you closer to your ultimate goal.

3. It's okay to ask for help.

No one can do it all on their own. If you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, reach out to your network for support. Whether it's a mentor, a friend, or a fellow tech enthusiast, there are people who have been where you are and can offer guidance and encouragement.

So if you're feeling lost or uncertain in your tech journey, don't despair. Just keep doing what you're doing, and trust that it will all make sense in the end. The path to success is rarely a straight line, but if you stay focused and keep moving forward, you'll get there eventually.

I hope you find this useful and a reason to forge ahead...

Product design is an important part of any business and a great case study can be a valuable asset to any company. It can help to promote your product, highlight its features and advantages, and show how it can make a difference in the user’s life.

Creating a great case study in product design involves several steps. Here’s how to create an effective case study that really stands out:

Step 1: Research Your Audience

The first step in creating a great case study is to research your audience. You need to know who you’re targeting, so you can tailor the case study to that group. Consider what their needs and wants are, and what will appeal to them.

Step 2: Identify a Problem

Once you have a clear idea of your audience, you need to identify a problem that your product design can solve. This is the core of your case study, as it will help to explain why your product is better than the competition.

Step 3: Develop the Story

Once you have identified a problem, you need to develop the story behind it. This will be the narrative of your case study and will be used to draw in readers and keep them engaged.

Step 4: Include Visuals

Visuals are an important part of any case study, so don’t forget to include them. Use photos, diagrams, and screenshots of your product in action to make your case study more engaging and easier to follow.

Step 5: Show the Results

Finally, show the results of your product design. Include customer quotes, data, and other evidence to demonstrate how your product has made a difference.

Creating a great case study in product design isn’t easy, but if you follow these steps you can create a compelling and effective case study that will help to promote your product. Above all, remember to emphasise the importance of story telling to create an engaging and memorable case study.

I hope you find these steps useful when creating your next case study...cheers

DID YOU KNOW?

Setting and achieving learning milestones can be a challenging endeavour, but having a plan of action can make it more manageable.

To start, it's important to set realistic, achievable goals. Break down the task into smaller, more manageable components. For example, If you are learning product design, set milestones such as designing one product at a time, or even setting a specific number of hours per day or week that you need to dedicate to learning. Another example is, if you are learning web development, set milestones such as learning one library or language at a time, or even setting a specific number of hours per day or week that you need to dedicate to learning.

Next, create a timeline or schedule to follow. Planning ahead can help you stay on track and stay focused. Make sure that you are giving yourself enough time to learn the material, but don’t be too lenient with yourself, or else you risk procrastinating.

Another tip is to break up your learning into smaller chunks. Instead of tackling one big task at once, break it up into manageable parts, such as creating a list of topics that you need to learn and tackling them one at a time. This will help you stay focused and on track.

Finally, reward yourself for reaching each milestone. This can be a small reward, such as taking a break for a few minutes to stretch or get a snack, or a larger reward, such as taking a day off or buying yourself something special.

By setting achievable learning milestones and following a plan, you can stay on track and reach your learning goals.

Have a blessed new week, cheers.

I know a lot of us are still wondering how to get started with product design, I made this post on:

HOW TO GET STARTED WITH PRODUCT DESIGN AND THE BASICS OF THE PROCESS

Product design is a complex process that involves a lot of planning, researching, and testing. It’s the process of creating an innovative product that is both aesthetically pleasing and practical. When done correctly, product design can help a product stand out from the competition and be successful.

When getting started with product design, there are several steps to consider:

First, it’s important to have a clear understanding of what the product should do. Once a goal is set, the designer must begin researching the market to see what’s already available, what’s missing, and what needs to be addressed. This helps the designer to come up with a unique concept that meets the need.

Next, the designer should come up with a plan by creating sketches and diagrams. This helps to visualise the product and plan out how it should be built. After this, the designer can start creating prototypes to test the concept and get feedback from potential customers. The prototypes should be tested in different environments to make sure the product works as expected.

Once the product has been tested and refined, the designer can start to create the actual product. This involves selecting the right tools, creating an intuitive user interface, and ensuring that the product is optimised for users. The designer must also consider the aesthetics and usability of the product to ensure that it works as intended. With careful thought and attention to detail, the designer can create a product that is both visually appealing and practical.

Product design is a complex process, but it is also incredibly rewarding. The designer must be patient, creative, and willing to take risks in order to create a successful product. With a clear plan, research, and testing, the designer can create a product that is both aesthetically pleasing, practical and intuitive to use.

In subsequent posts, I'll be talking deeply on each of these processes, follow, engage so you don’t miss out on any update.

Being consistent at learning a new skill is essential for progress and success. Consistency means doing the same thing over and over again until you get it right. It requires dedication and determination to keep going, even when things don’t seem to be going your way.

Learning a new skill is a journey, not a destination. It takes time and effort to gain mastery, so it’s important to stay focused and consistent. Set yourself achievable goals and stick to them. Break down the task into smaller steps and tackle each one individually. Celebrate your successes and learn from your mistakes.

It’s also important to stay motivated. Find ways to make the process enjoyable and rewarding. Find a support network or mentor to help keep you on track or look for ways to turn the process into a game. Make sure you take regular breaks and rewards yourself for progress.

Consistency is key to success. It’s not just about getting better at something; it’s about learning how to stay focused and dedicated to the process. Taking the time to stay consistent can pay off in the long run, as it helps to build the skills and habits needed to become an expert.

If you're looking to learn a new skill and stay consistent, remember that dedication and determination are key. With the right attitude and support, you can become an expert in no time. So why not get started today?
