Let’s be real.

I asked that question because I’ve been there.

We post “my ride or die” on Girlfriends Day, but can we call each other at 3am?

Can we celebrate without jealousy?

Can we correct each other in love?

Most “girl friendships” today are built on convenience.

_We vibe when the money is there.

We gist when there’s no one else.

We show up for the pictures, but not for the prayer.

And that’s why so many of us feel lonely in a crowd.

But it’s not supposed to be like that.

_Prov 18:24 - “There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Jesus showed us love-friendship. Ruth showed us covenant-friendship.

So my unpopular opinion stands:

*We need to stop tolerating friendships and start building them with truth, sacrifice and prayer.

Tag a friend who is NOT convenient. Tag your Ruth. 💛

PURPOSE IS FOUND IN GOD AND IN PURPOSE WE FIND OUR BEING "🙏

Yesterday l held a heart to heart discussion with a friend and I'm so grateful for what l learnt 🙏🙏🙏

When purpose is rooted in God, it stops being something we chase, It becomes something we live out. It means we’re not the ones who invent our "why". We’re created with intention. Like a tool made for a specific job.

I also said in purpose we find our being, we stop feeling lost. We know who we are, why we’re here, and what we’re supposed to do.

Outside of purpose, life feels empty no matter how much we achieve. But when we align with the purpose God gave us, even ordinary days feel meaningful.

It reminds me of Jeremiah 29:11 : "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Do you feel like you’re walking in that purpose right now ? Or are you in a season of searching for it?
