Welcome to a movement that chose wisdom over bitterness, strategy over sentiment, partnership over isolation, and the future of Rivers State over divisive politics.
KALABARI OK MOVEMENT — popularly known as KOK! Movement — is a Strategic Advocacy, Sensitisation and Mobilisation Movement founded for progressive-minded Kalabari sons and daughters who believe that at this defining moment in Rivers State, leadership must be driven not by anger, ethnicity or political emotions, but by competence, maturity, institutional understanding and the greater interest of Rivers State.
We are not a fan club. We are not an ethnic pressure group. We are not a desperate gathering seeking political handouts.
We are a purposeful, organised and ideologically driven grassroots movement built on one timeless truth:
“No tribe builds a great State alone.”
It is upon that belief that we proudly, strategically and unapologetically support Rt. Hon. Ogundu Kingsley Chinda, DSSRS, as Governor of Rivers State in 2027 under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rt. Hon. O. K. Chinda is not merely an Ikwerre candidate. He is a Rivers candidate.
A tested statesman whose journey through student union activism, legal advocacy, environmental administration, legislative leadership and national politics reflects courage, sacrifice, intellect, resilience and service.
As a lawyer, former Commissioner, longtime Federal lawmaker and former Minority Leader of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, O. K. Chinda possesses a rare and multidimensional understanding of governance, constitutional balance, legislative processes and executive administration.
At a time when Rivers State is emerging from years of political turbulence, institutional tension and unprecedented constitutional uncertainty, we believe Rivers State does not need another political experiment.
Rivers State needs: a steady hand, a tested mind, and a proven statesman.
That is why KALABARI OK! stands firmly behind O. K. Chinda.
For generations, Kalabari and Ikwerre peoples have lived together, traded together, intermarried, protected shared interests and stood side by side politically. Our history has never been built on hostility, but on partnership, cooperation and mutual respect.
KALABARI OK! seeks to strengthen and sustain that historic alliance as a strategic pathway towards peace, political stability, inclusive governance and future balance in Rivers State.

Through aggressive grassroots engagement, social media outreach, massive print and electronic media campaign, strategic partnerships, door-to-door campaigns, youth mobilisation, welfare interventions and our unique 1:4 grassroots expansion formula, we are building one of the most organised and influential political advocacy structures across the three Kalabari LGAs — Akuku-Toru (17 Wards, 244 Polling Units), Asari-Toru 13 Wards 251 Polling Units), and Degema (17 Wards, 178 Polling Units), making a total of 47 Wards and 673 Polling Units.
KALABARI OK! believes that this season calls not for bitterness, but wisdom. Not division, but partnership. Not sentiment, but stability. Not hostility, but strategic unity for the future of Rivers State.
