Every child has a dream but not every child has the guidance to make that dream a reality.

That’s why we’re launching the Career Compass Project; a project designed to provide underprivileged children in rural communities with career guidance, mentorship, and discovery tools.

Our goal is to reach 50 children in the pilot phase by April 2026.

Each child will receive a Career Discovery Kit worth ₦25,000, designed to help them understand their strengths, explore career options, and take the right steps toward a purposeful future.

Our work with schools and young people continues to reveal a simple but powerful truth, many children are not confused because they don’t have dreams, but because no one has guided them to understand who they are and what they are capable of becoming.

Through the Career Compass Project 2026, we are bridging this gap by reaching underprivileged children in rural communities with the right career guidance, mentorship, and tools to help them discover their strengths and make informed career choices.

Our goal for the pilot phase in April 2026 is to impact 50 children. Each child will receive a Career Discovery Kit valued at ₦25,000, containing materials and assessments designed to help them explore and align their interests with suitable career paths.

WHEN HOPE IS ALL A CHILD HAS!

Some years ago, after one of our sensitization workshops in a public secondary school in Buguma, Asari-Toru LGA, a young girl walked up to our founder - Counsellor OT

With so much passion in her eyes, she said, "Counsellor OT, I really want to go to the university and become a lawyer, but my parents don’t have the money to send me to school. Still, I have faith that God will make it happen."

Her words touched her deeply. If only she had the resources, she would have offered her a full scholarship up to the university level. But she didn’t. So, she did what she could, she listened, counselled her, and encouraged her to keep her faith and hope alive.

Because truly, all things are possible with God.

Children in rural communities often have nothing but hope, hope that one day, their dreams will become a reality.

As we prepare for the Career Compass Project 2026, our heart keeps going back to children like her; bright, eager, and full of dreams, yet limited by circumstances beyond their control.

This is why we are calling on passionate education enthusiasts, individuals, and organizations who believe in the power of education, guidance and opportunity to join us in this vision.

Today, it’s offering free career guidance. Tomorrow, it could be a full scholarship.

Together, we can do so much more to help underprivileged children in rural communities reach their highest educational potential.

UNVEILING THE CAREER DISCOVERY KIT!

As we prepare for the Career Compass Project 2026, one of the most exciting parts of this movement is the Career Discovery Kit, a special learning resource designed to guide and equip children with the right tools for self-understanding and informed career choices.

Each kit helps the child:

-Discover their strengths and interests
-Understand how their personality connects to career paths
-Learn the factors that influence career choices
-Learn decision-making skills for choosing the right path
-Build confidence and clarity about their future

Inside the kit are:

-A Career Literature - The Twist: A Tale of Wrong Career Choice

-Two practical workbooks - "Key Tests Before Career Choice" and “7 Powerful Questions for Career Clarity"

For our pilot phase in April 2026, we’re starting with 50 students from a selected rural community. Each child will need one Career Discovery Kit, and each kit costs ₦25,000.

That means we’re trusting God and counting on your goodwill to help us place 50 CAREER DISCOVERY KITS into the hands of 50 CHILDREN.

WHY THE CAREER COMPASS PROJECT?

Career guidance is more than helping someone pick a course or job, it’s helping them see themselves clearly and walk in purpose with confidence.

Over the years, we’ve seen how clarity changes everything, a child’s self-esteem, motivation, and even academic performance. But sadly, so many underprivileged children in rural communities never get this opportunity because they simply can’t afford it.

That’s one of the biggest reasons behind the Career Compass Project 2026, to make career guidance accessible and free for children who need it most. Because no child should be left behind simply because of where they were born or what they can afford.

As we continue planning, we are grateful for everyone who has shown interest and already pledged support. In the coming days, we’ll be unveiling what’s inside the Career Discovery Kit; the key tool that will help each child on their journey of self-understanding and direction.

Together, we can give these children a gift that lasts beyond today; the gift of clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Most of the time, we (educators, parents, and students), often focus on grades, goals, and achievements. Yet, behind every success story is a healthy, balanced mind. When a child feels understood, supported, and emotionally safe, learning becomes easier and dreams feel possible.

Mental health is not just about avoiding stress or sadness, it’s about building zeal, managing pressure, and creating environments where young people can thrive.

- In schools, that means listening to our students’ struggles.

- At home, it means showing empathy and patience.

- In life, it means remembering that rest, joy, and connection matter as much as hard work.
