Some men too do a swear down..i mean what manner of man is that??
Ready this woman's story and drop your opinion in the comment section if she right or wrong
I attended a party with my husband and he participated in a game. He was asked to choose in order the most important people in his life. It was his children, his mum before me.
The MC asked him to choose again and he chose the same thing.
When asked why those people came before his wife, he said those were family. I was embarrassed but smiled through till we got home. When I raised it up, he told me I was over reacting and brushed it off.
This was a man I cherished on so much. A man I placed above everything and everybody.
My dad told me before marriage that when the man and woman are peaceful and exude love, the children have no other choice than to grow in love. It is automatic.
He also said children will go years later and leave the both of us alone. The bond we created in the past would be the driving force. So getting into marriage, I made conscious efforts to work things between me and my husband.
For him to say this opened a whole aspect of him to me and I started seeing him differently. I kept my cool and intentionally, I started putting all my love and care into my children. There was no need investing in someone who didn't see me as priority.
Down the lane, I got a scholarship to do my PhD outside the country. As part of the package, I could go with an extra person for support.
I didn't tell my husband about it and was thinking on whether to go with him or not so I intentionally asked him if he had the opportunity to travel, who would he come for first and he said his mum.
I decided to put my eldest daughters name as my support and our visas were processed. My plan is to go and later come for my other two children.
He found out and asked why I didn't use his name instead and used my daughters name. I told him my children are family to me. So we sacrifice for family. My mum is late and my dad is weak to board a plane so the next would be my child.
We're to leave in the second week of September. I told him he can process his visa himself and come join us. I have no problem because if he had the chance, he'd have given the spot to his mum. We're all chasing our best interests.
