Don't just crave for the results and not be willing to do the work!

Behind every glamorous result we see is a ton of hardwork and effort that isn't loud nor spoken of so before you shout God when to those results you envy be also ready to shout God how can I put in this effort as well.

Recently, my colleague and brother Mr. Charles () shared the reach of his brand's Instagram account on WhatsApp status and it was in the tune of almost tens of millions, it's something to envy righteously and covet but then, something else struck my attention.

On that report, in the 30 days period, it was stated that he shared 340 contents. I quickly flipped to my calculator and did quick maths. The result was that he shared approximately 11-12 contents daily.

If you'll ask me, I'll tell you for free that it is huge work, lot of data, time, skill, and money going down to yield the million reach I envy and want to get.

Another colleague, Ebenezer Ekpenyong () recently shared how he stayed up till 4AM to regularly update his brand page with contents from The African Praise Experience - as at that time, there was little engagement on the posts but now? They're doing great numbers.

We see the numbers, yet we don't see nor want to do the work needed for the numbers, reach, and results to come.

I run a couple of blogs, I want to do crazy numbers like legit9ja, yabaleft, gistreel but I post one content daily or one content in one week and don't even utilise consistent social media posting so tell me how I'm going to rake the traffic they rake and surpass them? Delulu and wishful thinking I guess 🤌🏿

There's the luck factor but it's just 1 out of 100. One content can go viral by luck, your reach can soar up in one week by luck, get mad traffic by luck in 24 hours but it'll take more than luck to get these winning streak consistently.

The needed MORE THAN LUCK is conscious effort and the work we avoid!

Again, while you envy those big results and want them, also crave for the work that yield those results.

It’s my birthday today.

But honestly,

I don’t feel all the things people usually say they feel, no rush of excitement, no butterflies, just a quiet headspace and a full heart and head just trying to keep it together.

Birthdays come with all kinds of expectations, I had some big stuff thinking they should have been here or long done but life doesn’t always line up neatly but then, that’s okay.

So this is a note to anyone out there who feel low or numb on a special day, know it that you’re not alone, and there’s nothing wrong with you.

Feel what you feel, let it be real. There's no use faking being okay when you aren't.

That said, I remain thankful, still growing, still showing up, still building. Like one of my favourite phrases, it's MORE GRATITUDE & ZERO WORRIES even when we can't contain the worries or shut them out completely.

This day last year, we began the beautiful journey of 'I do, till death do us part' and today, we celebrate one year of marriage, and it feels like just yesterday that we said those vows. Through every moment, big and small, we're building a life together that we’re proud of.

As we look back on this first year, we can’t help but count our blessings. From the laughter we’ve shared to the challenges we’ve overcome, every step has helped us grow and become better and God’s grace has been evident in every aspect of our lives.

In the course of this first year, we’ve been gifted with the greatest blessing of all, a beautiful son who has added immeasurable joy and a sprinkle of chaos to our lives.

Here’s to us, cheers to a year of love, growth, and unshakable partnership. This is just one of many more years of happiness, adventure, and togetherness.

My ex-girlfriend is a year older today!

Yep, she used to be my girlfriend, but now she's my amazing wife, best friend, mother of my child, and the reason I smile even when she's not looking!

To the woman who upgraded my life and my wardrobe (even though I'm still yet to grasp the proper combination of colors), who’s still as stunning as the day we met (even more), and who puts up with all my shenanigans — Happy Birthday! 🎂

An artist told you his logistics and charge for what it'll take him and his team to honor your invitation is 700k which can also be done for 500k but then you felt the best thing to do is screen grab the message and run with a narrative that suits agenda agending on social media 😂

This is one reason why most of y'all will never grow than the way you're currently are. At first it was Moses Bliss being dragged for charging millions to minister now this.

Another funny thing is the statement 'just 30 minutes' 😂 if it's 'just', you wouldn't have bothered in seeking for him to come to your church or event, don't you think?

Well, let's do a little analysis. The minister is in Port Harcourt and the event is in Port Harcourt, why 700k?

There's the minister, at least four instrumentalists, and five backup singers bringing the team to a total number of ten people.

These nine people are not working for God bless you, you'll go far in life, they are getting paid and from that 700k, there's a fee getting to them. They'd definitely come with their own means of transportation, chattering their way to and fro, another money.

Then to the Minister you invited himself, he has his needs and care. If he doesn't take care of himself, who will? You? 😂

Finally, music isn't cheap, making those songs you love that got you to invite them run into millions so charging you is still in a way to invest back into the music. If you can't afford the prices, drink water and rest.

By the way, Nathaniel Bassey & Dunsin Oyekan don't charge for ministrations, you could as well look in that direction. Most of you are as well told those prices to push you away because una no get common sense (no apologies, I meant what I said).

There's a lot of stories to tell about this but we'll leave that to another time, through the fears, worries, and anxiety, God came through for me & my family.

A newest member has been added to the clan and we cannot but say thanks to God, staffs of Patfare who even through our worries and concerns were supportive and kind till the very end and our families who were unreluctanctly supportive and caring.

I have a lot playing in my head but have little to no words in putting the expressions in my head down. 28.08.24 God came through for us and it is a boy.

Dr. Abel Damina was a guest of the fifth season of the Honest Bunch Podcast, currently the biggest podcast in Nigeria. Honoring the invitation to the podcast brought a lot of uproars and questions from different angles.

His appearance on the podcast and his school of thought, biblical perspective also was another issue of debate after the podcast was aired.

To many, his appearance at the podcast was to make himself feel good, others have it that he went there to drag other ministers, others were of the opinion that his standpoint on tithing, seed sowing were blown out of proportion.

Light, camera, action - here's my way of examining the podcast and sharing my opinion about Dr. Abel Damina sitting with sinners and dragging other ministers.

Learn, unlearn, relearn - no knowledge is wasted!

Today is day 2 of the Photography Boot Camp organised by Phlens Studio (). Day one can be seen in the photos attached and it was nothing short of amazing.

As Ogagaoghene John ) my friend here will say, learn before doing, I've set out to learn before doing. I never knew there's a theoretical aspect of photography, I thought it was just carry camera, point, and click 😂 well, now I know photography is more than that.

Big thanks to sir Blessing Hezekiah the convener and head creative as Phlens Studio () for the platform and thanks to sir Emeka Joseph Nobis - De Don () for the opportunity to be a part of the bootcamp.

Back to learning, I'm hopeful this won't just be ending as learning but putting in the effort so that the results would also count.

Sir Ossai Ovie Success how many times do you request for permission before making use of songs on your visual contents or you've never ever used a song on your contents?

You're the special adviser to the Delta State governor on media so I believe you should have an idea of how copyright works since it's under media and even if you don't, you'd have made little research before making the claims that Brain Jotter made millions from the song.

If we're being honest on this matter, Brain Jotter didn't use the song to blow but the song was given wider exposure on Brain Jotter's platform. If I may ask, how many of his songs did you know before now?

Brain Jotter giving him ₦2,000,000 is a worthy move of kindness, integrity, and humanity as opposed to the insult you called it.

This isn't a question but a statement. If you were Brain Jotter, you won't have been able to give N2M talk more of the N10M you're demanding Jotter to give as the least.

As special adviser on media, I expected a better knowledge from you.

Brain Jotter made used of Mike Ezegha song released 41 years ago to make a skit with a dance step and ever since he did it, the sound and dance moves have both gone viral.

He visited the artist and supported him with two million Naira. Many saw that as a kind and beautiful gesture while others were of the opinion that two million Naira was an insult to the artist with the claim that he already made millions with the song.

One lawyer was even of the opinion that the artist sue Brain Jotter to get compensated properly then did Brain Jotter rip the artist and should he be sued?
