UBOKULOM OSAT SERIES | MOVIE PREVIEW #2
Curated by Osat Media

This week on Osat Media Movie Preview, we’re going faith, family, and forward-thinking science. Movies that lift your spirit and stretch your mind.

1. FAITH & INSPIRATION: Christian Movies to Watch
If you want stories about purpose, second chances, and God-sized plans, start here:

Evan Almighty (2007) Produced by Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum
When Evan Baxter is asked to build an ark, chaos turns into a miracle. A fun, family-friendly reminder that obedience in small things leads to big things. Perfect for a weekend watch.

War Room (2015) Produced by Stephen Kendrick, Alex Kendrick
Prayer as a weapon. This film changed how a lot of people approach marriage, family, and spiritual warfare. Heavy on truth, big on hope.

I Can Only Imagine (2018) Produced by Kevin Downes, Cindy Bond
The true story behind the song. A raw look at forgiveness, father wounds, and redemption. Bring tissues.

God’s Not Dead (2014) Produced by Michael Scott, David A.R. White
Faith vs culture on a college campus. Great for conversations about standing firm in what you believe.

2. SCIENCE-BASED & MOTIVATED: Movies That Make You Think Big
For the dreamers, builders, and problem-solvers — these are Hollywood standard and Netflix-available:

The Martian (2015) Produced by Simon Kinberg, Ridley Scott
Science + grit + humor. An astronaut uses botany, engineering, and sheer will to survive on Mars. Motivation: “Solve one problem at a time.”

Interstellar (2014) Produced by Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Lynda Obst
Love, time, and physics. A team goes beyond our galaxy to save humanity. It’ll make you call your family and look up at the stars.

Hidden Figures (2016) Produced by Donna Gigliotti, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping
The untold true story of Black women mathematicians at NASA. Brilliant, inspiring, and a masterclass in using your mind for purpose.

Oppenheimer (2023) Produced by Christopher Nola

THE FINAL ROUND
The Ubokulom Osat Series

The battle gets fiercest when victory is closest.

The last phase before the final whistle is often the hardest.
What keeps you standing on the pitch is resilience, focus, and agility— the ability to rise after every knock, to take the punch and fight back, and to maintain the right posture against the enemy.

The final fight before your breakthrough will test you the most.
You will face tiredness. Bruises and marks on your body. Staggering. A loss of strength that whispers, "Bow down."
But that weakness is proof — you are closer to victory than you’ve ever been. If you just hold on a little longer.

Don’t be discouraged if it feels like you’re the only one in the pitch.
That’s the nature of it. You are fighting for millions who are watching from afar.
Like a boxer in the ring, you are there for them — because you are a warrior who refuses to bow.

Your win represents millions.
If you fall, it brings discouragement to them.
And yes, the enemy has a camp too — cheering against you, applauding your opponent from a distance.

So you must be strategic.
The last round demands your consistency.
The discipline to get up after every fall.
The strength to stretch out your hands and strike back at the enemy.
Use your last strength — and make it more powerful than when you started.

Remember this: The battle begins in the mind, and it ends in the mind.
Never forget who you are.
Never surrender to the punches.
Never give up on defending yourself.

Because the reward of victory is far greater than the pain of defeat.
Stay focused. Your victory is near.
