Who made the rule that Sunday afternoon must be rice and stew… or jollof? 🤔
Because tell me why 70% of Nigerian homes already know what’s cooking before 10am 😂
That rich stew aroma filling every corner of the house…
The sound of rice boiling gently in the kitchen…
Sunday just doesn’t feel complete without rice on the table.
Today I made mine extra special 🥰

See ehn, motherhood does not respect tiredness 😩😂
After a long day, all I wanted was to sit down quietly.
No noise. No stress. Just me and my peace.
But my madam said she wants yogurt.
Instead of rushing to the store, I decided to try that online recipe I saved 2 months ago 😅 (yes, the one I kept saying I’ll try “one day”).
And guess what?
It came out creamy, sweet and correct! 👌🏽
Now I’m asking myself…
Why have I been buying this all this while? 👀
Being a mum means you’re tired…
But you’ll still stand up and do it anyway.
Because that smile😆?
That small happy dance💃?
That’s payment enough 🥰
