The church was filled with joy and gratitude yesterday as the family of Elder and Mrs. Nwankpa dedicated their son to the Lord. It was a meaningful celebration of God’s faithfulness, marked by heartfelt testimonies and songs of praise.

Spirit lifting hymns/ songs prepared hearts for worship, while Pastor Nwosi, President of the Rivers North Conference, encouraged the congregation with a message of hope. He reminded everyone that although seasons of waiting may be challenging, God in His perfect timing, makes all things beautiful.

During the dedication, Pastor Samuel Iroulor charged the parents to remain steadfast in their God given responsibility of raising their child in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. He emphasized that true peace and lasting blessings are found when children are nurtured in the ways of God.

The service ended as both the family and the congregation rejoiced in the assurance that God is still at work, performing wonders. He is El Roi "the God who sees, remembers, and never forgets His own.

In Christ, there is order.

Rest should be a priority in our lives. Our bodies need time to recover and renew, and that is why our Creator designed life with both day and night.

We understand the desire to work hard and achieve more, but what is the value of all that hard work if we are not healthy enough to enjoy its rewards?

Beloved, the Sabbath was made for rest. It is God's reminder that we need time to pause, refresh, and reconnect with Him.

So, here is the question: Are you resting enough?

Unforgiveness doesn't just steal our happiness; it also fills our hearts with resentment and keeps us in emotional bo***ge. Every time we see the person who hurt us, the pain comes alive again.

How long do you want to live with that burden?

Today, we are reminded to forgive one another, just as Christ forgave us.

We cannot truly claim to follow Christ without embracing this important virtue.

As we continue our journey of faith, may we choose to live a Christlike life.
