THE TRAGEDY OF PREACHING TO OTHERS AND LOSING YOURSELF👂👂👂

Paul said:
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest... when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." — 1 Corinthians 9:27
It is possible to preach to others and neglect your own spiritual life. It is possible to know the Scriptures, serve in church, and yet fail to discipline the flesh.

God is not only looking at what we do publicly; He is also looking at who we are privately.
Don't just preach holiness—live it. Don't just teach obedience—practice it. Don't just start the race—finish it.

An incorruptible crown awaits those who endure faithfully to the end. (1 Corinthians 9:25; 2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Guard your heart. Discipline your body. Stay faithful to Christ. 🔥✝️🙏

THE NAME "JESUS" WAS NOT UNIQUE—HIS IDENTITY IS!💯

Many believers are surprised to discover that the Bible mentions more than one person connected with the name "Jesus."

We all know Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world. But the Bible also mentions Jesus Justus (Colossians 4:11), a fellow worker with Apostle Paul. In Acts 13:6, we also read about Bar-Jesus, a false prophet and sorcerer whose name means "son of Jesus."

What lesson should we learn from this?

The power of our Lord is not merely in the name He bore as a human being, because "Jesus" (Yeshua/Joshua) was a common name among the Jews. The difference is His divine identity. He is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Many people bear Christian names today, but a Christian name does not make a Christian. A person may be called Peter and still deny Christ. A person may be called Paul and still persecute the truth. What matters is not the name on your lips but the nature of Christ in your life.

Jesus Himself asked His disciples:

"Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" (Matthew 16:13)

Peter answered:

"Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:16)

The question is not what your name is, but who Christ is to you. Do you merely know about Him, or do you truly know Him as Lord and Savior?

May we not only bear Christian names but also carry the character, holiness, and righteousness of Christ.

• Acts 13:6-8
• Colossians 4:11
• Matthew 16:13-16

🔥 YOUR WORDS REVEAL YOUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION 🔥

Many believers claim to know Christ, yet their mouths are filled with gossip, insults, slander, bitterness, and careless words. How can a fountain bring forth both sweet water and bitter water at the same time?

The Bible says:

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers." (Ephesians 4:29)

Yet today many Christians use their tongues to tear people down instead of building them up. They speak more like the world than like disciples of Christ.

Jesus gave a solemn warning:

"For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." (Matthew 12:37)

If your speech is full of anger, pride, mockery, and carnality, do not ignore it. Repent! The tongue is a small member, but it can set a whole life on fire (James 3:5-6).

As followers of Christ, our speech must be seasoned with grace, seasoned with salt, and filled with truth. Let your words heal, encourage, instruct, and glorify God.

Examine yourself today. If Jesus were listening to every conversation you had this week, would He be pleased with your words?

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KNOWING ABOUT CHRIST AND TRULY KNOWING HIM👂👂

The reason why many people are struggling to truly know Christ is because there are two kinds of knowledge and experience.

The first is descriptive knowledge — knowing God only through what is written, what people said, or through mere scriptural explanation. This kind of knowledge is limited. It gives information about Christ, but it may not produce a deep conviction in the heart.

The second is experiential knowledge — encounter knowledge, revelational knowledge. This is when Christ reveals Himself to you personally. This is beyond head knowledge; it becomes life, reality, and conviction inside your spirit.

A man who only knows Jesus by description can still doubt Him, compromise, and make mistakes in his walk with God. But a man who has encountered Christ by revelation cannot be easily shaken, because he has seen and experienced the reality of Jesus for himself.

This is why Apostle Paul prayed:
“That I may know Him…” — Philippians 3:10

And Jesus said:
“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” — John 17:3

Beloved, do not be satisfied with knowing about Christ alone. Pray for an encounter. Pray for revelation. Pray that Jesus will reveal Himself to you personally.

When a man truly encounters Christ, holiness becomes natural, obedience becomes easier, and conviction becomes stronger.

May God give us experiential revelation of Christ, so that we will not make mistakes in our walk with Him.
