Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has dissolved the management board of Bayelsa United Football Club and relieved its coaching crew of their duties over the club’s poor performance in recent seasons.

The Governor made the announcement of the dissolution during his remarks just before the state’s executive council meeting at the council chambers in Government House, Yenagoa.

The governor says an interim committee will soon be announced to reorganize the club and ensure Bayelsa United secures a place in the league next season
