Social Media Manager/Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's social media presence.
• Regularly create and post compelling content on various platforms.
• Interact with the online community and respond to inquiries and comments.
Content Creation:
• Generate innovative ideas for video content that align with the company's brand.
• Film, create, edit, and publish videos regularly to engage the target audience.
• Current relevant and trending content to maintain an active online presence.
Administrative Support:
• Assist in scheduling appointments for podcast guest speakers
• Communicate accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate office events and team members accurately
Communication Management:
• Manage and respond to conversations on WhatsApp, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Act as a liaison between the company and its audience, conveying the brand's voice effectively.
Marketing and Sales:
• Implement marketing strategies to promote the company's products/services.
• Identify opportunities and contribute to revenue generation.
• Create compelling promotional materials.
Brand Advocacy:
• Be a passionate advocate for the brand, embodying its values and mission.
• Actively participate in promotional activities to influence and expand the brand's reach.
Initiative and Goal-Oriented:
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, taking the initiative to identify and pursue opportunities for brand growth.
• Set and achieve SMART goals that contribute to the overall success of the brand.
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Understanding of social media metrics, Don't algorithms, and analytics, and the ability to implement them into social media strategy
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Professional communication skills both written and verbal
• Attention to details
• Marketing and sales skills with a proven track record.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Creative mindset with a keen understanding of brand representation.
• Bold and confident personality with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture
• Degree or Diploma in digital marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1-year experience in social media management or administrative assistance
• Must reside in Port Harcourt
