If deliverance from the consequences of sin is all you got from Christ's sacrifice on the cross, you have not gotten the full dose. Christ also paid to deliver you from the power of sin. You don't have to remain a dinner. You should be a Saint. When you get the full dose, you become a Saint.

THE SPIRIT WE CARRY
LUKE 9:51-56
As new Testament Christians we carry a spirit of life and not death. We are called to save lives not to destroy lives. We are in the world to save souls from going to hell. We are to do this even at the peril of our own life. A christian that knows the spirit he carries will not be praying for his enemies to fall down and die. He will not be calling down fire and brimstone to destroy his enemies. That is what Apostles James and John wanted to do but our Lord Jesus Christ correcred them. Christ taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who do us evil. That is the spirit we carry. We carry the spirit of compassion. It is that spirit that made Christ pray for those that nailed Him to the cross. It is the same spirit that made Stephen to pray for those who were stoning him to death led by the famous Saul of Tarsus. That prayer of Stephen led to the conversation of Saul who later became Paul the Apostle. If Stephen had asked thunder to fire Saul of Tarsus there would never have been a Paul the Apostle. We carry the spirit of unconditional love. Love for friends and enemies alike. May God help us to know the spirit we carry in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

An atheist was seated next to a dusty old cowboy on an airplane and he turned to him and said, “Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.”
The old cowboy, who had just started to read his book, replied to the total stranger, “What would you want to talk about?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” said the atheist. “How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?” as he smiled smugly.
“Okay,” he said. “Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff – grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?”
The atheist, visibly surprised by the old cowboy's intelligence, thinks about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea.”
To which the cowboy replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss God, Heaven and Hell, or life after death, when you don’t know crap?” 😂
