𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗪𝗘𝗗𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧!
A wedding is a moment of joy, but also one of deep spiritual significance. While we celebrate the union of two souls, let us also remember the importance of social decorum and modesty, even in the midst of our happiness, dear Christian couples.
1 Corinthians 14:40 reminds us, 'Let all things be done decently and in order.' This principle applies to every aspect of our lives, including our weddings.
True love and intimacy are precious gifts, best cherished and protected, not publicly displayed in ways that might cause discomfort or distraction.
Dear believers, caressing, immoral dance, kis*sing, and all sorts of sensual acts shouldn't be named among us.
We shouldn't let our flesh take hold of us on that day simply because we now own each other, or because you've paid her dowry.
Such an act can never be righteous in the sight of God. For His word encourages us to abstain from all the appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
The same way an immoral movie can ignite lust is the same way those immoral dance and other sensual acts on a wedding day can throw an arrow at a man as well. Afterall, most actors plays such character with their spouse. Yet, we believers see it as unrighteousness, even God.
We understand the joy of a newlywed couple, but public displays of affection that border on sensuality can detract from the spiritual essence of the ceremony. You can wait for your wedding night. let us remember that our actions can affect others and should reflect our reverence for God.
Some may point to the 'holy kiss' mentioned in scripture (Romans 16:16).
It can be likened to a warm greeting, a sincere handshake, or expressions of Christian love, not romantic displays.
Dear believer, we shouldn't come to your wedding to watch blue film on that day.
Let our weddings be a testament to the purity and sanctity of marriage.
