An Epistle to the Woman I Am Becoming

Dear Me,

Today, I celebrate more than another birthday. I celebrate growth.

I celebrate the woman who refused to give up when life became difficult. The woman who chose to learn instead of complain, to grow instead of settle, and to believe even when the future wasn't fully visible.

I am becoming a woman of wisdom. A woman who understands that true success is not built in one day but through daily choices, quiet discipline, and unwavering faith.

I am becoming a woman who values knowledge. Every book I read, every skill I learn, every challenge I overcome is preparing me for rooms I have not entered yet and opportunities I have not imagined.

I am becoming a woman of influence. Not because I seek attention, but because I want my life to leave people better than I found them. I want my words to inspire, my actions to encourage, and my story to remind others that growth is always possible.

I am becoming a woman who embraces excellence. Average is no longer my destination. I will continue to improve, to stretch myself, and to become better than I was yesterday.

I am becoming a woman who leads with kindness, courage, and integrity. My character will speak before my achievements do.

I am becoming a woman who trusts that delayed dreams are not denied. I will embrace courage, release fear and doubt, and honor my unique journey. I am becoming a loving mother, patient teacher, peaceful friend, and woman of purpose. This new year brings greater wisdom, deeper faith, and new opportunities.

To the woman I am becoming—I am proud of you already.

Keep learning.

Keep believing.

Keep praying.

Keep showing up.

One day, you will look back at this birthday and smile because everything you are trusting God for will have become your testimony.

🌙 Bedtime Story for Toddlers: Sophia and the Little Sweet Cake

"Are you ready for tonight's story?"

"Yessss!" 😊

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Sophia.

Sophia was kind, cheerful, and loved helping her mommy.

One day, her teacher gave every child a delicious little sweet cake.

"Mmm... this smells so yummy!" said Sophia.

Her teacher smiled and said,

"Take it home and enjoy it with your family."

Sophia held the cake tightly.

On her way home, she looked at it.

It smelled so good.

Her tummy rumbled.

"I want to eat it now," she whispered.

Just then, a little butterfly landed on a flower.

The butterfly said,

"Sophia, good things are even sweeter when we learn to wait."

Sophia smiled and said,

"I'll be patient."

She kept walking.

A little bird flew down and chirped,

"Cheep! Cheep! You're doing a great job waiting!"

Sophia smiled again and held the cake even tighter.

Finally, she reached home.

"Mommy! Daddy! Look what my teacher gave me!"

Her parents hugged her.

"We're so proud of you for waiting."

Mommy cut the cake into little pieces so everyone could have some.

As they ate together, Sophia smiled.

"Wow!"

"The cake tastes even sweeter because we shared it!"

That night, Mommy said,

"Sophia, today you learned something very important."

"Patience helps us make wise choices, and sharing brings even more joy."

Sophia smiled, closed her eyes, and went to sleep with a happy heart.

🌟 Lesson

Patience means waiting calmly, even when something is exciting. When we are patient, we make better choices and bring happiness to others.

💕 Questions for Your Girls

After the story, ask them:

Mommy: "Did Sophia eat the cake on the way home?"

Girls: "No!"

Mommy: "Why did she wait?"

(Help them answer: "Because she was patient.")

Mommy: "What did Sophia do when she got home?"

(Answer: "She shared with her family.")

Then finish by saying together:

"I will be patient."

"I will wait."

"I will share."

✨ One Lesson With My Girls

Every time I ask my eldest daughter to pray, she says the same thing:

"Dear God... please give Mommy two baby boys. We need brothers." 🥹❤️

It makes me smile every single time.

She doesn't know the conversations adults have.
She doesn't know the comments some mothers receive.
She simply speaks from the innocence of a child's heart.

As a mum of three beautiful girls, I've heard different opinions over the years.

But motherhood has taught me something...

A child's value is never determined by their gender.

Whether you're raising boys, girls, or both, your greatest legacy isn't the gender of your children...

It's the character you help build in them.

Today, I'm choosing gratitude for the three amazing girls God has entrusted to me, while trusting Him with every tomorrow.

Story title: The Girl Who Refused to Give Up

Scene 1: A Dream Bigger Than Poverty

Twelve-year-old Grace lived with her sick mother in a tiny old house. They often had only one meal a day, but Grace never stopped smiling.

One evening, her mother whispered, "Grace, don't let our poverty steal your dreams."

Grace held her mother's hand and replied, "One day, I will become a doctor and take care of you."

The next morning, Grace walked to school with torn sandals and an empty stomach, unaware that someone had been watching her.

What did the stranger want?

Scene 2: The Kind Stranger

After school, the stranger stopped Grace.

"I've seen how hard you work," he said. "Why don't you give up like the others?"

Grace smiled.

"If I give up, my dream will die before I do."

The man looked at her with admiration but said nothing more. He simply handed her a small envelope and walked away.

With trembling hands, Grace slowly opened it...

What was inside the envelope?

Scene 3: A Difficult Choice

Inside the envelope was enough money to pay Grace's school fees.

She ran home with tears of joy.

Her mother smiled weakly and said, "God has remembered us."

Just then, their neighbor rushed in.

"My son is very sick! I have no money for medicine."

Grace looked at the money in her hand. If she helped the little boy, she might lose her chance to stay in school.

She closed her eyes and made a decision...

Grace used part of the money to help the sick boy.

A few days later, the kind stranger returned.

"I heard what you did," he said.

Then he smiled and handed Grace another envelope.

"This one will pay for all your education until university."

Grace burst into tears.

"Why are you helping me?" she asked.

The man replied, "Because people who refuse to give up and still choose kindness deserve another chance."

But Grace's greatest test was still ahead...

Would she finally achieve her dream?

Years passed.

Grace studied hard and never stopped believing.

One day, she stood proudly in a white doctor's coat.

Her mother sat in the front row with tears of joy.

"I told you," Grace said, hugging her. "Our story would not end in poverty."

The audience applauded as Grace gave a speech encouraging children never to stop dreaming.

Her journey had just inspired hundreds of young lives.

Life Lesson: Your background does not determine your future. Hard work, kindness, faith, and perseverance can open doors that poverty never could.
