I have been married to a married man for eight years now without knowing it. ðŸ˜ðŸ’”ðŸ˜
Ten years ago, I met my husband when he came back from abroad. We dated for two years, and he came to see my family when I was pregnant. Since then, he comes to Nigeria twice every year. I call him morning, afternoon, and night. He never gave me any reason to suspect that he was married with no child.
I have given birth to three children, a girl and two boys.
Since I’ve known him, he never allowed me to work or do business. He placed me on a monthly salary of 300k for our upkeep.
In January,he called and said he wanted to relocate me and the kids to Canada.I was so happy.He started processing the documents then he called to say that my own documents were delayed,but the children’s documents were ready. He came and picked the three kids and promised that within one month, my own papers would be ready. But from the moment he took them, he stopped answering my calls. Sometimes he would call me once every three days, and if I complained, he would say he was busy.
Few days ago, he called and said we needed to talk. He added another woman to the call and started explaining. He said he was s0rry, but he is a married man. He has been married for 15 years, but his wife couldn’t conceive. He didn’t want to ad0pt children, that’s why he came to Nigeria to have his own kids.
Now that the children are with him, he told me not to worry. He promised to take care of them. He asked me to forgive him and move on with my life. I went straight to my parents. When my father called him, he told my father that he is a married man and can't marry 2 wives.He wants full custody of our children and said I shouldn’t worry,I'm still their mother.
He offered me the house and ₦10 million in our joint account and told me to move on with my life.I have been che@ted. How can I fA!ght for my kids?
