Ahh, this exercise book brings back memories! π
This was more than just an exercise book cover for many of us. It was our first "dictionary" and multiplication table all in one.
π Things we learned from it:
A for Aeroplane
B for Bag
C for Clock
D for Door..all the way to Z for Zigzag
Many children learned their ABCs by staring at the back of this exercise book during class.
β The multiplication table at the bottom was a lifesaver. Whenever the teacher asked, "What is 8 Γ 7?" some of us quietly checked the back cover before answering. π
π Back then, almost every pupil had one. The cover would get torn, folded, and covered with brown paper, but the alphabet and multiplication table remained our faithful study companions.
It's amazing how a simple exercise book could teach letters, spelling, multiplication, and even help us pass tests.
Who else learned their ABCs and multiplication table from the back of this exercise book? πβ€οΈ
