PRESS STATEMENT

MY DECISION TO WITHDRAW FROM THE RIVERS STATE GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES

Fellow Rivers People,

After deep reflection and extensive consultations with my family, friends, and associates, I have taken the difficult but necessary decision to withdraw from the APC gubernatorial primaries. I do so with a full heart and with a firm commitment to support whoever emerges as the candidate of our great party.

Leadership is ultimately about sacrifice. There comes a time when personal ambition must yield to the greater good of the people. Rivers State is bigger than any individual, and at this critical moment, the peace, stability, and unity of our dear state must take precedence over every personal interest.

To my supporters who stood firmly with me throughout this journey who gave their time, resources, prayers, and unwavering hope, I offer my deepest gratitude. I understand the disappointment, the anger, and the pain many of you may feel. Much has indeed been invested and much sacrificed along the way. But please know that your loyalty and trust were never in vain. My silence over this period was deliberate and strategic, guided always by the higher interest of our state and our people.

As our elders say, not everything a hunter sees in the forest is spoken of in the marketplace. Some truths are best borne quietly, not out of fear, but out of wisdom and restraint for the sake of peace and a greater purpose. It is enough to say that I have faced immense pressures and difficult choices, but my love for Rivers State remains greater than anything else.

I sincerely thank our great party, the All Progressives Congress, for the platform and support extended to me throughout this process. I also express my profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his support and encouragement.

The APC remains our collective home, and I urge all party faithful and supporters to remain steadfast and committed as we continue to build a stronger and more united future together.

Let it be clearly understood that I stepped aside from participating in the upcoming River’s state Gubernatorial election not out of weakness, fear, or surrender, but out of conviction and sacrifice so that Rivers State may move forward in peace and unity and I remain committed to serving the good people of Rivers state till the end of my term.

I was in my room that night… the same night I was finally set free. Oga had called me earlier, his voice calm… almost too calm. He apologized.
Said it was all a misunderstanding… that the money was only misplaced. I nodded, but deep down… something didn’t feel right. Because Madam had looked at me differently.
Not like someone who made a mistake… but like someone who had already planned everything. That night, I sat alone in my room, staring at the walls like they were slowly closing in on me. Then my phone buzzed.
My heart skipped. I didn’t need to check before I knew who it was. It was Madam.
My hands trembled as I opened the message. “I have convinced my husband about the missing money. You can resume your work.” I let out a breath I didn’t even realize I was holding.
For a second… just one second… I felt free. But the next line… the next line froze my entire body. “But don’t lock your door tonight. I will pay you a visit. I don’t want to make any noise since my husband is around…”
My chest tightened instantly. It felt like the air in the room had disappeared. “You fulfilled your promise… just like I set you free.”
My fingers went cold. I dropped the phone on the bed like it had burned my skin. Fear gripped me completely.
Not the kind you can shake off… the kind that crawls into your chest and sits there… heavy. I stood up and began to pace the room, my mind racing like it was about to explode. I had never been with a woman before…
Not even close. I was still holding onto my values… everything my mother had taught me. “This is wrong…” I whispered to myself.
But then… another voice came into my head. Darker. Stronger. “What if she changes her mind?”
“What if she tells her husband something else?” “What if everything turns against you again?” My breathing became uneven. I looked at the door.
It suddenly didn’t look like protection anymore… it looked like a trap. Locked… or unlocked… Either way… I wasn’t safe.
That night, sleep didn’t come. Only fear did. And the sound of my own heartbeat… waiting… for a knock that could change my life forever…

I quickly sn3@ked to the fridge and took one of my master's g!n dr!nk.
I drank enough to clear shame and to make me bold so I can s@isfy madam.
I'm already tired of being innocent.
Being h0ly comes with pain but tonight I have decided to give madam whatever she wants.
The door cracked open and I saw madam in a pink t0wel very fresh.
She grabbed my Gbolala immediately and I also rushed her.
I started gb0l@la-ing her kponmo with n0 m3rcy.
I was d£t£rmin£d to make sure that she will not be to w@lk @in after d£ with her.
Just within 45 m!nutes that we started.
She was already b3gg!ng, "Daniel easy, Daniel please, Daniel I'm tired... please Daniel is okay."
But I didn't mind her.
I was p0und!ng her with pains in my heart and tears in my eyes.
At a point she lost control and was crying for real b3gg!ng me.
But I still p!nned her d0wn 0n the b3d and continued gb0l@la-ing her kponmo.
Her voice became l0uder and l0uder sh0ut!ng.
"Daniel you are k!ll!ng me, easy easy please Daniel."
But I still went m0re h@rder on her this time.
That's when she lost control and started sh0ut!ng for h3lp.
One of the apprentice quickly rushed to my room.
To find both of us 0n the b3d.

What happened next is very shocking ....you won't believe it...
