Yesterday, one of the winners of our EPL Watch Party prize came around to claim her reward. After receiving it, her next request was to see DJ Bravoz, all because of the unique music he plays.

Coincidentally, I walked into the studio at that moment, and she was beaming with smiles as I was introduced.
After a warm exchange of pleasantries, we took a few shots together.

It was truly an honour.

The 2025 theme, “One Love. One Voice. One Day.”

Established in 1994 by Jamaican radio strategist Andrea Davis, inspired by Winnie Mandela’s speech on reggae’s role in South Africa’s anti-apartheid movement .

Coincides with the death anniversary (July 1, 1999) of reggae legend Dennis Brown, “The Crown Prince of Reggae”.

Reggae, recognized by UNESCO in 2018 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, is known for its distinctive off‑beat rhythm and themes of love, justice, and resistance.
