Arrest and Intimidation of Activists and Government Caritics: The only Thing That the Nigerian Government and its Armed Forces Are Good At.

They did it to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader, then to Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate, and before/after these men, there have been several similar cases. All because everyone is afraid to speak, in support of the systemic injustice, or simply indifferent.

Now, today, it is Martins Otse AKA Very Dark Man (VDM).

Tomorrow, who knows who’d be next?

TO THOSE I HOLD DEAR

Dear Beloved Family and Friends,

Even In the Silence, Or When I Seem Far Away, I Still Care

There are seasons in life that seem to stretch endlessly—times so dark and heavy that the soul begins to forget what sunlight feels like. In those moments, survival becomes more than just a word. It becomes the air we breathe, the rhythm of our days, the invisible weight we carry on our backs as we struggle to stay afloat in a tide that refuses to recede.

In that struggle, we don’t always realize what we’re giving up.

At first, it’s subtle. A missed call here, a delayed response there. A forgotten birthday. A gathering unattended. We don’t intend to drift away, yet slowly, we do. The people we love—the very ones who give us purpose—begin to feel the distance. They still see us, yes, but the connection begins to blur. They can’t feel us like they used to. And we, fighting to keep our heads above the crashing waves of responsibility and expectation, can barely feel ourselves.

They think we’ve changed. That we’ve chosen work over them. That we no longer care.

The truth is far more complicated. Relationships begin to fracture not from malice, but from silence. Family ties loosen under the strain of absence. Friendships fade. Social bonds dissolve into shadows. Some among us lose the sparkle in our eyes. Others lay it down willingly, convinced that it’s the price we must pay to provide, to survive.

They may try to understand, and sometimes they do. But other times, they can’t quite grasp the weight we carry—the constant, exhausting pressure to hold it all together. They don’t see the underwater predators circling our legs while we smile above the surface. They don’t hear the silence in our bedrooms at night, where tears fall quietly into pillows, because we must never be seen breaking.

And yet, despite all the chaos, one thought remains constant in our minds: our loved ones.

We wonder how they’re doing. We hope they’re okay. We miss them deeply, but we don’t always have the words—or the energy—to say it.

How do we explain that our distance isn’t neglect, but sacrifice? That we have chosen to stand in the fire, to walk paths that scar us, because we believe it’s the only way to shield those we care about from harm? How do we help them understand that we are absent not because we love them less, but because we love them too much to let them carry what we carry?

We work jobs that break us. We say yes to tasks that chip away at our pride. We give up seats at the table not because we don’t want to be there, but because we’re too busy making sure the table still exists.

This is the hidden truth. This is the story of so many of us. And if you are one of the people I hold dear, I need you to know: I care. I always have.

If you don’t hear from me for a while, please—don’t assume the worst. Reach out. I might be too tired to call, too consumed to show up, but your check-in could be the light I need in that moment. A reminder that I’m not alone.

I love you. I care for you—more than words, more than distance. Always.

Yours Sincerely,
Phenomenal NHO

Echoes Across the Distance:
When Words Bridge Hearts and Miles Fade Away

There are moments in life that arrive quietly, yet leave an echo so loud, it changes everything. For me, it began with a simple scroll—just another ordinary day, until her name graced my screen: Fiona Wageci.

She lives nearly 4 thousand kilometers away, tucked in the warmth of Nairobi, Kenya. And yet, from that first glance at her profile, distance lost its meaning. It wasn’t just the way her words flowed like poetry or how her smile seemed to know secrets the world had yet to discover—it was something deeper. Something magnetic.

Fiona is a writer—the kind that doesn’t just put words on a page, but breathes life into them. Each post she pens feels like a whisper to the soul, like someone holding your thoughts before you’ve fully formed them yourself. She is an incredible mind—brilliant, articulate, grounded. But what strikes me most is the richness of her character. She embodies grace, strength, and depth—the very definition of a virtuous woman. And yes, she is beautiful. Undeniably so.

Wait, did I mention that already?

I must have. But beauty, in her case, is far from superficial. It’s in the elegance of her words, in the humility that colors her thoughts, in the discipline and culture that shines through each expression. Whoever raised her—her mother especially—must have sown seeds of wisdom in the richest soil. She deserves every accolade for raising such a woman.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—I haven’t met her. How, then, can I speak with such conviction about her essence?

The truth is, some people reveal their hearts in the things they write. And Fiona’s words? They speak of a soul steeped in truth. “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” In her case, her writing flows from a place so sincere, you don’t need proximity to recognize authenticity.

They say, “Great impressions can be made from a distance, but true character is tested up close.” It’s true. But Fiona seems to defy that logic. She’s like an open book, every page radiant with clarity and depth. You don’t read her—you experience her.

What draws me closer still is that our visions align in the most intimate way: our dreams of marital life. When she writes about love, commitment, partnership—it’s as though she plucks thoughts right from my own mind. I used to wonder if such a woman existed. One whose heart resonated with mine. Then came Fiona—answering questions I hadn’t yet asked, filling spaces I didn’t know were empty.

Now, I find myself returning online more often than I care to admit, just to catch her latest post. In a world full of noise, her words are peace.

Her name is Fiona Wageci. And yes, she lives in Kenya.
Would I go that far, across oceans and countries, just for her?

Well… the future will decide.

But if you ask me now—she’s worth every mile.

YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS:

"If you were the devil and wanted to destroy the human society without them knowing, how would you do it?”

I asked ChatGPT the above question and guess what it said?

“That’s a deep and provocative question. If I were to answer from a storytelling or philosophical perspective — imagining the devil as a master manipulator — the most effective way to destroy society subtly would be to erode it from the inside out, using things people grow to accept or even celebrate. Here’s how that could unfold:

1. Normalize Selfishness as Virtue:
Redefine selfishness as self-love. Convince people that personal gain is always the highest good, even at the expense of others. Make self-interest look noble, and mutual sacrifice look foolish.

2. Corrupt the Concept of Truth:
Blur the lines between truth and opinion. Push the idea that everyone has “their own truth,” until facts lose meaning. Without truth, trust collapses, dialogue breaks down, and manipulation thrives.

3. Promote Instant Gratification:
Encourage a culture where long-term goals, discipline, and patience are old-fashioned. Glorify quick success, pleasure, and convenience—even if it means debt, addiction, or apathy.

4. Undermine the Family Unit:
Break down traditional support systems like families and communities. Isolate individuals emotionally. When people feel alone, they become easier to control and less resilient.

5. Weaponize Technology:
Turn tools of connection into tools of distraction and comparison. Let social media replace real relationships. Let algorithms create echo chambers. Monitor behavior, and exploit data to manipulate people’s thoughts.

6. Divide and Conquer:
Exploit differences—race, class, gender, religion—and turn them into reasons for suspicion and hate. Amplify tribalism so that cooperation seems impossible.

7. Twist Morality:
Redefine virtue signaling as real virtue. Encourage outrage without accountability. Make people feel morally superior for posting opinions, while ignoring real-world actions or empathy.

8. Destroy Hope Quietly:
Feed people despair masked as realism. Make them believe change is impossible, systems are too broken, and they are too small to make a difference.

Of course, this is a dark perspective meant to provoke reflection. Many societies already wrestle with these subtle shifts, but awareness is power. Spotting the patterns is the first step to resisting them”.

Please Note:
The ideas portrayed here are purely based on the reality of what the human society has already become, of which some are of the opinion that it is all being orchestrated by some “devil” somewhere, and such beliefs are mere speculations.

While each and every step outlined in the action plan tells the sad story of what our society has become, it does not in any way lend credence to the common belief that there’s an unseen being by whatever names called, that is responsible for it.

Neither the post itself or ideas portrayed in it by ChatGPT is intended to endorse or support the concept of “DEVIL” or to instill fear of any sort in you. It only serves as an illumination into the moral and cultural decadence in our modern societies.

No human has ever at any time seen, heard from, or spoken to the devil before—because it does not exist.

The comment section is open for everyone, including those who have contrary views of this particular subject, and for those who’re going to insult me.

“If, then, sound health is the foundation of success and happiness in life, how important it is that we should study the laws of health, which is but another expression for the laws of nature! The nearer we keep to the laws of nature, the nearer we are to good health, and yet how many persons there are who pay no attention to natural laws, but absolutely transgress them, even against their own natural inclination. We ought to know that the "sin of ignorance" is never winked at in regard to the violation of nature's laws; their infraction always brings the penalty.”

Dear Aproko Doctor, your attention is needed here.

Dear Emmanuel Ifechukwude OKOSE, I watched with utter dismay your outburst in this video of you lamenting the VDM-Mercy Chinwo fight.

Although I am not surprised hearing you speak this way about VDM, it’s ridiculous coming from someone who claims to be a member of the “Body of Christ”. Referring to someone as a “FOOL”? I thought Christ said that no one should call another fool? Is it that you’ve not come across that verse of the Bible or you intentionally decided to disregard the teachings and principles of Christ of whose body you claim to be a member and of whom you claim to represent?

And how sensible are you and your so called body of Christ, given all the drama, all the controversies, the insults and insanity, etc, emanating from yourselves?

Where were your so-called fathers when Mercy Chinwo arrested Mr. Eezee Concepts? Where were you then and why didn’t you make videos then to address the issues?

How did the “Body of Christ” allow their issues to get out to the public and then start dragging one another to court?

Answer me.
