News about Amaka Obiorah sponsoring the Unizik girl's international education does not impress me. In my opinion, it is merely a publicity stunt. Let us be realistic. Why do we encourage and promote undesirable behavior in today's society, creating the impression that a misbehaving child can receive public appreciation? Is Amaka, the UK-based lady who wants to help the girl, so wealthy that there is no one in her extended family who desires to study abroad? Has she already assisted all her family and friends who needed help to study abroad? There are numerous well-behaved and brilliant children who are currently out of school due to financial constraints. They are not seeking to study abroad, but rather to enroll in JAMB or attend a polytechnic in Nigeria. People like Amaka tend to overlook these children. Every year, there are 'Best Graduating Students' from each university in Nigeria, how many of them have received appreciation from people like Amaka? Did the expelled Unizik girl's parents claim they are impoverished and unable to support their daughter's education, prompting Amaka to offer assistance? I find it amusing that a Mr. Isdore, also based abroad, offered to send N500k to a lawyer to take up the girl's case. These are the same individuals who claim that life abroad is challenging and that there is no surplus money. They avoid sending financial assistance to their relatives, but as soon as there is an opportunity to seek attention, they emerge with empty promises. UK scholarship foundations are not charitable organizations; they conduct thorough research on applicants. Why do you think individuals with questionable characters are often denied visas at the embassy? This post encourages constructive criticism, critical thinking, and respectful dialogue. ゚viralシ
