Dear Scholarship Beneficiaries,

We acknowledge your concerns and appreciate your patience and trust in this initiative. Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, the Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai Foundation and the Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai Scholarship committee remain committed to your educational journey and future success.

After an emergency meeting and thorough deliberations, the following resolutions have been reached:

1. The Committee recognizes the challenges posed by India's age-limit policies for admission and visa approval.

2. The Senator is personally engaging with the Indian Embassy to secure waivers or concessions for eligible beneficiaries.

3. For those unable to meet the age criteria, the Foundation will provide fully funded domestic scholarships in public universities of your choice.

4.The second batch of placements will be on hold pending the outcome of the Senator's discussions with the Embassy.

5. Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai reaffirms his commitment to empowering young people through quality education and human capital development, aiming to alleviate poverty and promote societal progress.

The senator assured all beneficiaries that they are at the heart of this mission. Rest assured that every effort is being made to secure the best possible outcome for every beneficiary.

Following the commencement of Damaturu’s first-ever flyover, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, the Executive Governor of Yobe State has directed the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to begin the redesign and upgrade of all major roundabouts, Face-lift of selected major roads in the city.

This animation presents a glimpse of the proposal and how the roundabouts will look after construction — part of a bold vision for a modern and beautiful Damaturu.

I commiserate and extend my heartfelt condolence to His Royal Highness the Emir of Fika,Alhaji Muhammad Abali Ibn Muhammad Idrissa, CON, CFR, the Fika Royal family as well as the entire people of Fika Emirate over the passing of Alhaji Haruna Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa.

I received the news of the death with shock and great feelings of bereavement. The deceased was humble, kind and affable young person who was well endeared to his people.

I pray to the Almighty Allah to bestow the deceased His mercies of Aljannah Firdaus and grant His Highness,the Emir of Fika,his immediate family, friends, associates and the people of Fika Emirate the fortitude to bear this great loss. Amin.
