Fire Update: Swift Response and Solidarity Prevail, No Loss of Life Reported
Fellow Students,
Last night, a fire incident occurred at the female hostel on our campus. We are relieved to report that there were no casualties, and all students are safe. However, we acknowledge that several students have experienced loss as their personal properties were affected by the fire.
All thanks to the VC and his cabinet for the emergency response and sympathy shown toward the situation of the affected Students. The VC in his speech acknowledged the distressing nature of the incident and shared words of comfort, emphasizing that challenges like these are part of life's uncertainties. He urged students to find solace in their faith and take this as a test of resilience.
The swift response of the emergency services and the cooperation of students and staff ensured everyone's safety. We are grateful that there were no reported injuries or loss of life.
Unfortunately, the fire resulted in significant damage to the personal properties of our students. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
The Student Union Government, in collaboration with relevant authorities especially SEMA, is mobilizing support services for affected students. Counseling and guidance services were made available to help cope with the emotional impact of this incident.
In times of adversity, our strength lies in unity. We encourage the entire student body to come together in support of those affected. Any assistance or donations for the affected students will be greatly appreciated.
Regular updates will be provided as we work towards resolving the aftermath of the incident and supporting our students through this challenging time.
