Your kind is truly rare. You were a man of great value, kindness, humility, and remarkable character. Your good deeds and the beautiful memories you created will forever remain precious to us.

Though we deeply mourn your departure, we take comfort in the assurance that you are resting peacefully in the bosom of the Lord. Indeed, God only takes the best.

Rest peacefully, dear brother and in-law. Your legacy will continue to live on in our hearts, and your memory will never be forgotten.

OSUN WOMEN TO POLICE: WE WANT TO VOTE, NOT WAR!

Osogbo, Osun State — Women in Osun State have once again taken their concerns to the security authorities, calling on the Nigeria Police Force to remain neutral and ensure that Saturday’s governorship election is conducted peacefully, freely and fairly.

The women, who had earlier protested over alleged intimidation, arrests and political violence, are demanding that security agencies protect voters rather than create an atmosphere of fear. Their message remains clear: “We want to vote, not war!”

The development comes amid heightened tension ahead of the August 15 governorship election, with political parties, civil society organisations and other stakeholders raising concerns over violence and the heavy presence of security personnel in the state.

The women are urging the police and other security agencies to resist every attempt to compromise the electoral process and to allow citizens to freely exercise their constitutional right to vote.

They insist that Osun people want to choose their governor through the ballot box, not through intimidation, violence or the use of force.

For FUN RADIO TV, the message from the women is one that should resonate with every stakeholder in the election: Let the people vote. Protect the voters. Let every vote count.

As Osun goes to the polls, all eyes are now on the security agencies to demonstrate professionalism, impartiality and respect for the democratic rights of the people.
