Assalāmu ‘Alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh, beloved brothers in Islām.
As we reflect on this blessed month, we felt it important to lovingly remind ourselves of some little mistakes that sometimes happen in the hostel, especially regarding the issue of Morocco.
Our respected Shaykh once reminded us with profound words:
‘The greatest fear of every scholar is the matter of women, for they have been a cause of ruin for nations.’
And we know that Islām has made it clear that:
(Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim). Knowledge cannot flourish without discipline of the heart and mind.
And above all, we have been warned in the Noble Qur’an:
“And do not approach fornication (adultery). Indeed, it is ever an abomination and an evil path.” [Al-Isra: 32]
Indeed, Allah forgives the sins of His servant so long as he has not reached the state of gargling (at death)
And repentance is not [accepted] of those who [continue to] do evil deeds up until, when death comes to one of them, he says, ‘Indeed, I repent now,’ nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful punishment.
🔥🔥🔥
So let us, as brothers, help one another to stay away from what displeases Allah, and instead focus on what elevates us in knowledge and faith. May Allah grant us strength, chastity, and sincerity in our pursuit of knowledge. Āmīn.
