EARLIER IN THE WEEK,
IBRAHIM MUKHTAR MAIGONA (Ibba) WAS ENGAGE TO AISHA BELLO MATAWALLE FOR MARRIAGE:

A formal marriage engagement ceremony was held for Ibrahim Maigona and Ms. Aisha Bello Matawalle.

The brief but well-attended event took place at the Minister’s residence in Abuja and attracted several prominent dignitaries.

The engagement request was made on behalf of Ibrahim Mukhtar Maigona (Zannan Sokoto) by the former Executive Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. He formally sought the consent of the Honourable Minister of Defence, Hon. Abubakar Badaru, who is also the former Governor of Jigawa State.

In response, Hon. Badaru graciously granted permission for the engagement.

The dowry for the marriage was set at One Million Naira (₦1,000,000)
Prominently guests in attendance are National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu; the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Politics, Hon. Ibrahim Masari; Senator Kawu Sumaila, Senator Ibrahim Gobir, Ambassador Faruku Malami Yabo, Hon Saidu Umar Ubandoma, H.E Manir Muhammad Dan’iya, Alh. Zayyanu musa Bashir (zamson), Alhaji Mahe Dange, Yariman Sakkwato, Senator Sahabi Ya’u, Hon. Bashir Gorau, Hon Zubair Abdul Malik Zannah Bungudu, Hon Abdulsamad Dasuki among others.
