FFK: A PROPAGANDIST OR A POLITICAL PROPHET?
Even as a lot of people have come to the conclusion that president Buhari is a disaster to our ailing democracy, many Nigerian citizens believe that his war against Fani-Kayode is genuine. Recall that the former Aviation Minister was among those high-profile financial criminals Buhari began to hunt from his earlier 'ministry' over a whooping sum of N4 billion.
As expected, PDP had come out open and condemned EFCC for the prosecution, calling it "witch hunt." FFK too has done something. A propagandist of his class, he has so far shown his prowess in the obvious quest to win public sympathy for himself. He has tried his best in predicting issues. He has done well in masterfully linking his personal case to the many evil Buhari administration is doing to the poor masses. He has sought himself out into our hearts, arguing that he is innocent, arguing that he's done "wonderful jobs" in Aviation Ministry. To this effect, he's failed because our Aviation Ministry is in shamble now and was in total decay during his service. Everyone of us know this, and every mind can think for itself that FFK is not entirely the saint he's making out he is.
Like all our political leaders, he's stolen public fund; he's not the the angel PDP members say all of them are. Knowing this will make our fight easier as we can narrow our thought on whom our real enemies are.
We face not a problem of tribe. Our problem is not political parties. Our problem is not religion. Our problem is not Hausa, its not Igbo, its not Yoruba. Its a war between the greedy political class vs. the masses! And now is the hour when we can return their blows in full spade!
