WOMAN,DRIVER ARRESTED FOR SUPPLYING LOGISTICS TO BANDITS IN KADUNA

Soldiers have arrested a woman and a pickup van driver who were about to allegedly deliver some logistics to bandits at their hideout in Kurutu Forest in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State. A community leader from the area who confirmed the arrest to our reporter over the phone on Monday, said they were apprehended at Bishini junction around 4:23am on Monday.

He said the woman, who was a charcoal dealer, was conveying cartons of cough syrup, packets of ci******es, Indian h**p, bag of rice, 22 bags of pure water sachets, one jerry can of palm oil and a carton of Maggi, which he said were concealed in five sacks and covered with trampoline.

He said the soldiers arrested the suspect alongside the driver after receiving intelligence information.

A security source, who preferred anonymity, also confirmed the arrest of a woman and driver, saying the woman had confessed to the soldiers that she was sent on an errand by bandits to purchase the items and deliver them at their den.

He said soldiers became suspicious when the pickup van was flagged down at the army checkpoint, and that the woman claimed that the items belonged to timber operators working for her in the forest.

“It was after soldiers searched the pickup and discovered the items, including Indian h**p and cough syrups, that she confessed that she was sent on errand by bandits,” he said.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, was yet to confirm the arrest at the time of filing the report.

I NO GO GIVE SHISHI OPM PASTOR REPLIES TO KIDNAPPERS
WHO DEMANDED OF 50M RANSOM FOR THE CHURCH'S ABDUCTED SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

The superintendent of the Omega Power Ministry church, Pastor Chinyere has refused to pay the ransom demanded by Northern kidnappers after abducting the church’s school principal.

Releasing an official statement on the church’s Facebook account, the pastor informed the public about the tragic news of the principal of the OPM free school in Jos being held hostage by kidnappers.

The man of God vehemently refused to pay them the demanded money because he would not give God’s money to criminals who by their actions ridicule the good works he was doing over there.

He gave the abductors the ultimatum to free the principal, surrender their arms and repent and they will be forgiven. He also will teach them skills for free.

Failure to do that will incur God’s wrath upon them, pastor Chinyere pronounced.

Pretty Barisitam: I believe you sir, am sure dey will release sir, dey have eyes but them no dey see…a man of God with a great work.. Nigeria please fear God

Chima Toribush: What is all this from our northerners brothers. You don’t want your children to be educated? Who in the north can do this OPM is doing.
