๐Ÿ“ขFIFA has once again sparked controversy, with one of the most striking changes being the removal of the "world champion" status from all previous Club World Cup winners.

โŒAs a result, three Premier League giants โ€” Manchester United, Liverpool, and Manchester City โ€” along with Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona, are no longer officially recognized as world club champions following the football governing body's latest decision to revamp the history and format of the Club World Cup.

This move is part of FIFAโ€™s effort to elevate the prestige of the tournament, which has often been overlooked by top European clubs.

Instead, FIFA now recognizes only ๐Ÿ†Chelsea as the โ€œFirst World Championsโ€ under the new Club World Cup format.

In an official social media post following the final, FIFA referred to Chelsea as โ€œThe first ever FIFA CWC Champions,โ€ marking them as the first champions in the redefined history of the Club World Cup.
