BELIEVERS TASKS ON DEVOTION TO GOD AND CONTENTMENT

By Ordinary Useni Garba

True fulfillment in life comes from devotion to God and contentment, rather than material possessions and wealth.

An Elder with CRC-N LCC Centre in Jalingo, Taraba state, Dr Siman Ambita'a, stated this while delivering his teaching on the Sixth day of the CRC-N week of Sacrifice.

Taking his text from the book of Philippians 4:10-13, and teaching on the topic "The Secret of Contentment" Dr Ambita'a explained that contentment is a secret that can be learned through maturity and growth in Christ Jesus.

He further explained that the secret to contentment lies not in self-sufficiency, but in Christ's strength and provision.

According to him, Contentment is not something that comes naturally, but rather through experience and spiritual growth and urged believers to learn to be contented in whatever circumstances.

He encouraged believers to prioritize godliness and contentment, recognizing that material possessions can lead to temptation and sorrow.
