Control your anger, because it’s just one letter away from danger. In a moment of rage, you can break what took years to build. You can say words that cut deeper than any blade, and make choices that close doors forever. Anger is loud, but wisdom is quiet. And in that quiet, you get to choose: Will you react and regret it, or pause and respect yourself Don’t let one hot second ruin your peace, your relationships, and your future. Breathe. Step back. Protect your peace. Because the same mouth that curses can also bless, and the same hands that destroy can also build. Master your anger, or it will master you.

Drop a reaction if you agree.

PRESIDENT TINUBU: ADELEKE'S VICTORY, A FITTING ASSURANCE THAT DEMOCRACY WILL CONTINUE TO FLOURISH IN OUR COUNTRY

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the just-concluded Osun election is a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in our country under the All Progressives Congress administration.

"I called Governor Ademola Adeleke earlier today to congratulate him on his election victory in Osun State. His victory once again confirmed the confidence the people of Osun State have in him.

"I wish him great success as he prepares to lead the state for the next four years. Now that he has won, Governor Adeleke must unite the people of Osun State and rally them for growth, stability, and social and economic progress, regardless of the political choices they made at the election.

"I salute the courage and discipline displayed by other contestants in the election. Their participation deepened and enriched our country's democratic culture. The outcome of the election reflects the will of the people and is a fitting assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in our land."

RAINBOW COALITION MOVEMENT BERTHS IN IKA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, VOWS TO EMANCIPATE MASSES FROM POLITICAL SERVITUDE

By Emmanuel Israel Irabor

In what portends a paradigm shift in the socio-political topography of the region, the Rainbow Coalition Movement officially inaugurated its local government and ward-level executives yesterday, August 12, 2026, amidst a resplendent gathering of stakeholders, technocrats, and enthusiastic citizenry.

The high-octane inaugural assembly underscored a resolute collective resolve to dismantle entrenched political hegemonies and redirect the trajectory of governance toward people-centric development.

*A Movement Rooted in Emancipation*
Operating under the overarching ideological architecture of its National Supreme Leader, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike, the movement has unequivocally clarified its institutional posture.

While maintaining a non-partisan stance as an unyielding pressure group, the collective has vowed to actively deploy its socio-political capital to safeguard the overarching interests of the masses.

The event commenced with solemn intercessory prayers, immediately followed by the formal introduction of dignitaries occupying the high table. Notably gracing the occasion was the esteemed Agbor business magnate, popularly known as Benco Pool, whose presence accentuated the broad-based multi-sectoral endorsement the movement continues to garner.

*Speeches of Conviction and Purpose*
Setting the tone for the day's deliberations, the keynote address elucidated the profound imperative of the Rainbow Coalition Movement. The discourse heavily spotlighted the transformative administrative milestones of Chief Nyesom Wike, framing him as a quintessential archetype of audacious leadership.

Furthermore, the assembly forcefully articulated the historical necessity of liberating Ika Federal Constituency from the suffocating shackles of political servitude—an insidious yoke local leaders argue has long re****ed the socioeconomic advancement of the indigenous population.

Amplifying this clarion call, the Delta State Coordinator, Comrade Nwaturu God'swill Nduka, delivered an impassioned, intellectually rigorous exhortation. He dissected the structural impediments plaguing the constituency and implored all indigenes, stakeholders, and the general public to enlist in the vanguard of liberation, assuring them that a renaissance of unprecedented prosperity is imminent.

*The Inauguration and Strategic Exhortations*

The focal point of the assembly culminated in the sacred swearing-in ceremonies for newly minted executive officers across both the local government and constituent ward tiers. The transition of mandate was executed with solemnity, charging the newly inducted leadership with the onerous responsibility of grassroots mobilization.

Delivering the vote of thanks and closing remarks, the Ika South Coordinator, Hon. Friday Orubor, reinforced the movement's inclusive ethos.

Fielding probing inquiries from members of the fourth estate of the realm during a subsequent media parley, Hon. Orubor stated unequivocally:

> "This movement is an inclusive umbrella designed for all and sundry. Chief Nyesom Wike exemplifies an undaunted, fearless paradigm of leadership, and the propitious hour has arrived to extricate Ika Federal Constituency from the clutches of those who have perpetually held our collective patrimony bound."

augmenting these sentiments, State Coordinator Comrade Nwaturu God'swill Nduka provided further exposition during the press briefing. He dilated upon the immutable leadership virtues of Chief Wike, delineating the tangible dividends Ika Federal Constituency stands to harvest under such pragmatic tutelage, while reiterating a fervent appeal for total solidarity with the movement.

The momentous event successfully transitioned into its concluding phase with benedictory prayers, subsequently dissolving into an atmosphere of convivial camaraderie and sumptuous refreshments, leaving an indelible imprint on the political consciousness of Agbor and its environs.
