There's this lady that comes to me frequently to borrow money. She's a stay at home mum and the husband is a contractor so, they need assistance sometimes to survive for a few day till the man pick up another contract.
This has been going on for more than a year. The husband is aware that the wife borrows from me because sometimes he will ask if the wife returned my money to me.
This has been going on for more than a year and they pay back promptly without any issues and i'm not talking about huge amounts of money. Just things like 2k, 5k. The highest amount they have ever collected is 10k and like i said earlier, they pay back without me having to ask.
What got me angry was that, a few days ago my generator refused to come on, so I took my power bank to the woman to help me charge. This was my first time of ever knocking on their door or asked for their help. Immediately she saw me because she was outside. She waved at me to go back. She rushed out and asked me to leave! That her husband does not allow her to mingle with people.
I felt so embarrassed. I didn't go there to gist with her or look for friendship. I only needed help with charging my device. Anyway, I swallowed my embarrassment and entered my house.
I was just waiting for her to come close to my door again. 2days ago she approached me again and I told her my man warned me not to mingle with people anymore.
She has been giving me bad eyes since then. How can I be helping you constantly but I cannot rely on you for help?
