WHAT THEY NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT JESUS AND THE SAMARITAN WOMAN😲🤔

In Jesus’ time, Jewish men never spoke publicly to women, especially not in private. And especially not to Samaritans, a group despised by Jews.

So why did Jesus, a Jewish rabbi, wait alone at a well for a Samaritan woman with a broken past?

👉This was no accident.
👉It was a divine setup.
👉A moment of healing.
👉A powerful lesson for us all.

Let’s dive deep into this encounter at Jacob’s Well (John 4:1–42), and why it still speaks to our souls today.

💥1. JACOB’S WELL – MORE THAN A PLACE FOR WATER

Wells in the Bible weren’t just physical sources of water, they were also places where marriages and covenant relationships began (cf. Genesis 24:10–27; Genesis 29:1–14; Exodus 2:15–21).

So when Jesus met the woman at the well, He wasn’t proposing marriage, but He was offering a new covenant, a divine relationship, a spiritual union that would restore her dignity and heal her soul.

💥2. A WOMAN WITH A WOUNDED PAST

She came to draw water alone at noon, the hottest time of day, when no one else would be there.
Why? Shame.

She had been with five husbands, and the man she was with now wasn’t her husband (John 4:18).

👉She wasn’t just thirsty for water.
👉She was thirsty for love, for meaning, for truth.

And Jesus knew it.

💥3. JESUS BREAKS THE BOUNDARIES

By talking to her, Jesus broke:

👉Cultural boundaries (Jews vs. Samaritans)
👉Gender boundaries (Man vs. Woman)
👉Moral boundaries (Holy vs. “Unclean”)

She said, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask a drink of me, a woman of Samaria?” (John 4:9)

But Jesus saw deeper.

He saw her heart, not her past.🤔

💥4. “IF YOU KNEW THE GIFT OF GOD…”

Jesus said to her,
“If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’
you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” (John 4:10)

She came for water,
but left with a well of eternal life springing up inside her.

IS THE POPE NOW A FISHERMAN?🤔

The Pope’s ring is called the Fisherman’s Ring because it links the pope directly to Saint Peter, the first pope, who was a fisherman before Christ called him. When Jesus met Peter, He said, “Follow me, and I will make you a fisher of men.” That moment changed everything. Peter left behind his nets and boat and became the foundation of the Church, the rock upon which Christ built His kingdom on earth.

But the symbolism doesn’t end there. The ring itself bears an image of Saint Peter casting his nets from a boat—an eternal reminder that the pope’s role is not to rule with might, but to cast the net of Christ’s love over the world and bring souls to salvation. The pope is not just a leader; he is a fisherman, a servant, a successor of Peter, continuing the mission entrusted to him by Christ Himself.

Throughout history, this ring wasn’t just jewelry. It sealed papal documents, authenticating them as the voice of the successor of Peter. At the death of a pope, the ring is destroyed, symbolizing the end of his earthly mission and ensuring no one misuses that authority. Then, when a new pope is chosen, a new ring is cast and placed on his finger—a sign that the mission continues, that the nets are still being cast.

To wear the Fisherman’s Ring is to carry the weight of Peter’s calling. It says: “You are now the shepherd. You are now the one who casts the net.” It is both a crown and a cross, a reminder that the greatest among us must be the servant of all.

This is why Catholics, when in the presence of the pope, traditionally kiss the Fisherman’s Ring, not out of superstition or royalty, but out of reverence for the sacred office passed down through centuries, and for the one chosen to lead souls safely to the shores of heaven.

Best Friday Prayer💟✝️

Father, thank You for this Friday. Thank You for seeing us through another work week and bringing us to the weekend. Father, we pray that this weekend will be filled with rest, refreshment, and quiet time with You. Our lives can seem so overwhelming and confusing, but we know that You are there by our side always.

Lord, thank You for guiding our path. Help us recognize Your Spirit. Bring us deeper into a knowledge of You, so that even in times of adversity, we can rest in the knowledge that You are with us.

Holy Spirit, please wash us with Your love. We repent of our sins, and we pray for help to do better in time. We rejoice that You are forgiving and full of such a grace that ushers us forth into freedom. Our times and our days rest in Your hands, and we know that even in anguish, You have a plan for our benefit and the glorification of the kingdom. Help us to trust You in such times and be filled with overwhelming peace.

Thank You, Lord, for this beautiful day. May we increase in You, may we come into an abundance of Your love.

ADAM AND EVE DID NOT EAT APPLE, FIND OUT THE TRUTH 😲🤔

Was it really an apple? What did Adam and Eve truly eat? The real meaning will leave you in awe.

💥CHAPTER 1: BACK TO THE BEGINNING

Let’s not rely on art, tradition, or popular imagination. Let’s go to the original Word of God:

“And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise; so she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.” (Genesis 3:6)

Take note: there’s no mention of an apple.
The Hebrew word used is "piryoh", meaning simply “its fruit.”

💥CHAPTER 2: WHERE DID THE APPLE COME FROM?

Why do people think it was an apple?

Because of Latin. In Latin:

👉Malum = apple
👉Malum = evil

Same word, different meanings. That wordplay gave rise to the idea that the forbidden fruit was an apple, popularized by medieval art and Western storytelling.

But the Bible? It never says what kind of fruit it was.😲

Some Jewish traditions suggest it might have been a fig (since Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves, Genesis 3:7).
Others say pomegranate, a symbol of kingship and fertility.

But the fruit’s identity is not the focus.
What matters is what it represented.

💥CHAPTER 3: THE FRUIT WAS A TEST, NOT A TRAP

Eve wasn’t tempted by a snack. She was tempted by a vision of power:

👉Good for food, (physical craving)
👉Delight to the eyes, (emotional desire)
👉Desirable to make one wise, (intellectual pride)

Threefold temptation, echoed again in 1 John 2:16:

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not from the Father, but from the world.”🤔

The serpent offered more than fruit, he offered the lie:
“You will be like God.”

💥CHAPTER 4: THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE

God said:

“Of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat…” (Genesis 2:17)

Hebrew: “Etz ha-da‘at tov va-ra‘”
