📢 IMPORTANT NELFUND UPDATE FOR ALL STUDENTS

The President of the Student Union Government (SUG), Comrade Mathias Urerimam, today met with the NELFUND Desk Officer to discuss issues affecting students' access to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

We are pleased to inform students that the University Management has officially written to NELFUND requesting an extension of the application portal. This request is aimed at providing an opportunity for newly admitted students and other eligible students who are yet to apply to access and benefit from the NELFUND scheme.

The SUG leadership remains committed to ensuring that no eligible student is left behind in this process. We therefore encourage students who have not yet applied to remain hopeful and prepare the necessary documents while awaiting further updates on the extension request.

We appreciate the cooperation, patience, and support of all students as we continue to engage relevant stakeholders in the interest of the student community.

Further updates will be communicated through official SUG platforms as they become available.

Receipts without *₦50 stamp duty* are not accepted. Kindly visit the ( *treasury* )Bursary to correct and replace them.

*Note:* If you fail to correct your receipt, it means your school fees payment is not complete.
