Nah, bro. You didnā€™t ā€œhaveā€ herā€”you had access to a version of her that didnā€™t even know her worth yet. You knew her body, but never touched her soul. You knew her flaws, but never protected her healing.

With me, she stands taller. With me, she has stability, peace, and purpose. Her smile is real now. Her spirit is lighter now. Her life is better now.

You didnā€™t lose her to another manā€”you lost her to growth. So yeah, you might have ā€œhadā€ her onceā€”but youā€™ll never have her the way she is with meā€¦ because you were never built to handle her evolution.

NO BONDAGE

ā€œAnd, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.ā€ (Acts 12: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, when the angel turned up for Peter in prison, a light shined in the prison, and the chains on Peter all fell off. The angel turned up for Peter in prison, and the bondage that Herod put on him was broken. Herod had put chains on Peter to stop him from moving. He set up a system that will sustain the stagnation he wished on Peter. He made an arrangement that would ensure bondage, but God broke the bondage.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every bondage on your life is broken. Every chain on your life is broken. Every system the enemy set up to ensure that you remain stagnated, is broken. Every chain the enemy has set up to tie you down in places you would rather not be in, is broken. Every environment the enemy has set up to ensure that your destiny does not enjoy full expression, is broken. The bondage of Herod is broken.

Notice that this was the same Peter who, on the day of Pentecost, spoke with power and over three thousand men were added to the church (see Acts 2). This was the same Peter whose impact had resonated in the early church. This was the same Peter by whom the lame man at the beautiful gate received his healing (see Acts 3). Herod saw a man who was important to heavenā€™s agenda, and put him in chains.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: every bondage that has come to mitigate your influence and relevance, I command it to scatter now. Every bondage that has come to halt your involvement in heaven's agenda, I command it to scatter now. Every bondage that wants to reduce your destiny to rubbles, I command it to scatter now. Every bondage that wants your best to be in the past, I command it to scatter now.

Christ has set you free, and you no longer have any business with the chains of the enemy. The chains are broken. The bondage is broken.

Psalm 107: 16 says: ā€œFor he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.ā€

Declare With Me: I break out of every satanic bondage, in Jesusā€™ name!

Lieutenant Dr. Samson Haruna was a qualified medical doctor by training, he had joined the army and been commissioned as a lieutenant just last year, in 2024.

In April 2025, he tied the knot with his wife, Mrs. Samson Haruna, embarking on what should have been a joyful new chapter.

But tragedy struck on September 22, 2025, when a fierce argument erupted over her suspicions of infidelity.

In a horrifying escalation, she doused him with petrol and ignited it while he slept.
