I spent 3 hours debugging why my Kubernetes nodes wouldn’t join the cluster…
Everything looked correct. Terraform ran fine. No errors.
But nothing was working.
Turns out ,it was an IAM trust policy issue.
One small misconfiguration… whole system dead.
Lesson: In DevOps, 90% of issues are not “big problems” , they’re tiny things hiding in plain sight.
If you’re stuck on EKS or node groups, check IAM first.
Saves you hours.
