Today, here’s a message that, if you hold onto it, will change how you see the work of building yourself (self development).
If you truly want to elevate yourself — to rise to a higher level in life — you must prepare for these four things:

1. ISOLATION:

You must learn to stay alone sometimes. Distance yourself from unnecessary noise and distractions. It’s in moments of isolation that deep thinking happens — where you can plan your life and work effectively without interruptions.

2. SEPARATION:

You must cut ties with certain things and people. Separate yourself from bad habits, time-wasters, and most importantly, from people who drag you down or weaken your motivation.
You can’t rise higher while still holding on to what keeps you low.

3. EXTREME FOCUS:

You must direct all your energy and attention toward your purpose. Stop scattering your focus in many directions. Choose what matters most and go all in — like a hunter who locks eyes on his target and looks nowhere else.

4. RELIANCE ON ALLAH:

After doing all the above — isolating, separating, and focusing — you must hand over your affairs to Allah. Remember, all success comes from Him. Combine hard work with prayer.
As you strive diligently, never stop asking Allah to bless your effort, guide your path, and strengthen you. That’s the true meaning of tawakkul (trust in Allah).

Fellow Nigerians

Very recently, reports emerged that the U.S. War Department is “preparing possible military action against Nigeria” under the excuse that Christians are being persecuted in our country.
Let me say it loud and clear, this is false, deceitful, and dangerously manipulative. It is not about religion. It is not about protecting Christians. It is about resources, influence, and control.

When they failed in Venezuela, they turned their eyes to Nigeria, a land blessed with oil, gas, gold, lithium, uranium, and rare earth materials that the West can no longer easily obtain from China. Now, they are looking for another soft landing, and they think Nigeria will be that place. But they are wrong.
We see through the deception.
They talk of religion to divide us, but their real target is our wealth beneath the soil, the same rare earth minerals that power global technology, defense systems, and energy transitions.

They claim to care about Christians, yet they kept silent when both Muslims and Christians were slaughtered by terrorists. They did not send aid when Nigerians suffered poverty, hunger, and insecurity. But now, suddenly, they remember us? No, they remember our oil wells, our lithium deposits, and our strategic position in Africa.
Let us not be fooled.

This is not about human right, it is about economic conquest.
And to those in Washington and their allies:
Nigeria is not for sale. Nigeria is not Ukraine. Nigeria will never be a colony again.
We, the people of Nigeria, stand as one, Christians, Muslims, traditionalists, Northerners, Southerners, Easterners, and Westerners. We are one family, one destiny, one nation under God.
If we allow division, they win. If we stay united, they tremble.

So let us rise together, not with hate, but with wisdom and courage. We must defend our sovereignty, our land, and our future. Our oil, our gas, our gold, and our rare earth resources belong to us, and to the generations yet unborn, not to any foreign power hiding behind false humanitarian pretenses. So I call on every Nigerian, from the youth to the elders:
Stand firm. Stay united. Stay awake.

Let us reject foreign manipulation and strengthen our national unity. Arise, Nigeria! Defend your land! Protect your oil, your minerals, and your freedom! The destiny of this great nation lies not in Washington, not in Beijing, not in Moscow, but in our hands, in our hearts, and in our unity.

Tinubu’s next line of action revealed as Trump threatens to launch attacks in Nigeria over ‘Christian Genocide’

President Bola Tinubu will visit the United States on Tuesday for high-level talks with the American government over ongoing concerns about religious violence in Nigeria.

The visit comes as US President Donald Trump raised alarms over attacks on Christians in the country and hinted at possible military action.

According to presidential sources, Tinubu’s trip will involve meetings with senior US officials, and Vice President James David Vance is expected to represent Trump during discussions.

The visit aims to strengthen cooperation between the two nations, particularly on counterterrorism and security matters.

Tinubu’s aides said that both leaders share interests in addressing insurgency and violent extremism.

The Nigerian presidency added that the Trump administration has previously supported Nigeria’s security efforts, including arms sales, which the Tinubu government has utilized in combating terrorism.

Any differing views on the nature of attacks in Nigeria are expected to be addressed during the visit.

The visit follows warnings from Trump that the US might intervene militarily if attacks on Christians do not stop.

The US President also indicated the possibility of halting aid to Nigeria should the situation persist.

US May Sanction 12 Governors
Twelve Northern governors, senior judges, and influential traditional rulers in Nigeria could face sanctions from the United States over alleged involvement in attacks on Christians and the enforcement of Sharia and blasphemy laws.

According to Punch, the move comes as US lawmakers push for stronger action following Nigeria’s designation as a Country of Particular Concern for religious persecution.

The proposed Nigeria Religious Freedom Accountability Act of 2025 seeks to identify Nigerian officials responsible for promoting or tolerating violence against religious minorities.

Under the bill, the US Secretary of State would submit a report within 90 days naming governors, judges, and monarchs linked to these acts.

Potential sanctions include visa bans, freezing of assets, and financial restrictions under the US Global Magnitsky Human Rights framework.

The concern stems from the expansion of Sharia law in Northern Nigeria since 2000.

Starting with Zamfara State, several northern states incorporated Sharia into criminal and public law, creating parallel courts alongside secular systems.

States affected include Zamfara, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Bauchi, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, Kaduna, Niger, and Gombe.

Other states with large Muslim populations, such as Kwara, Kogi, Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Taraba, and Adamawa, apply Sharia only in personal matters like marriage and inheritance.
