Misconceptions and Facts about Sustainable Living.

In the face of climate change and growing demand for sustainable living, several misconceptions and myths about eco-friendly living makes individuals have second thoughts on adopting sustainable habits.

1. Sustainable Living is expensive according to most people but here's a fact,in the long run, it can actually lead to long term cost savings.

2. You don't need to buy eco-friendly products to be sustainable instead, the most eco-friendly product is the one you don't buy; focus on reducing consumption and not immediate transformation, it is a PROCESS.

3. Sustainability only means environmental action: this is hardly true as it includes social and economic justice as well as community well-being.

4. Disposable plastics are unavoidable: many believe that single -use plastics are impossible to avoid however, switching to reusable items is a simple yet impactful way to reduce plastic waste.

5. Individual actions don't make a difference: every step no matter how small contributes to the effective collection. It creates a ripple effect that encourages other to join the movement.

6. Sustainable living is about finding ways to meet our present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
