I want to share the story of Aminat — a resilient single mother in a community in Lagos.
After going through a divorce, her ex-husband left her with just one of their two children. Ever since, Aminat has been working tirelessly, going around the neighborhood selling her goods just to make ends meet — from feeding her son to paying his school fees.
I bought from her today and also gave a little support to her small business. She was so grateful, and it reminded me how much even small acts of kindness can mean.

I met Mama in Kuchikau, Nasarawa State.
Her heartbreaking story was shared with me when I visited the area, following the tragic loss of an entire family overnight.

I was moved to pay her a visit—and though I offered her a small cash gift, it’s clear that Mama needs much more support.

I promised to return and do more.

As promised, I sat down with her sister — the one who was with her that night before the tragedy. And honestly… what she told me broke me. 💔

She said they were together up until around 8:30pm, and everything seemed perfectly normal. Her sister looked healthy, strong, and in good spirits.

But by the next morning, the entire community was in shock. News of her sudden death spread like wildfire. 💔

Even more disturbing — blood was reportedly gushing from her body… yet there were no visible injuries. 😔

We couldn’t speak directly with her children, as they had traveled to bury their mum, but we were able to send a little support to the family through their aunt.

This story is still heavy on my heart. No one deserves to leave the world this way — especially not a woman who was simply fighting to survive.

Let’s keep them in our prayers. And let’s never stop speaking against the quiet evils around us. 💔

💔 The world is truly a dark place…

I received a heartbreaking report from one of the farm settlements in Kuchikau, Nasarawa State. A woman, a widow who lost her husband just two years ago, was found dead in her room — alongside her daughter and grandchild.

They were discovered by neighbors, lifeless… with the plate of Eba and soup they had eaten still sitting right beside them — untouched since that tragic moment. 😢

No one can say exactly what happened… but it’s hard to ignore the signs. Poisoning seems likely.

This woman was poor, but strong. She had been fighting daily to survive and support her children alone. Who would do something so heartless to someone already carrying so much pain? 💔

I also visited her sister — she was with her that night — and I’ll be sharing parts of that emotional conversation soon.

Let’s be careful out there. The level of envy and wickedness in the world today is terrifying. Not everyone smiling at you means you well. 💔
