Happy New month ,

Remember if you are using earthen pond make sure the drainage system is working excellent, this is the season of flooding and all your efforts can be wipes out in seconds.

If you are on tapolin or concrete pond also watch your pond once full open your discharge and reduce the water level.

Fishes always swim with water current and that means that once their is over flow they will swim with the over flow point

CAN RUNT FISHEs GROW BIG

What are runts they are those small fishes from hatching some have body deformed some are just very slow from. Hatching.

During fingerling/ juvenile sales the hatcher may have noticed very slow growth from the set he just hatched , the problem is that some of these fishes are naturally slow or deformed but are sold very cheap if u buy them no matter how hard you try to provide good environment and feed them you still notice they are not growing .

When you fishes from fingerling/ juvenile if at 3 months with good spacing, management and feeding they still remain at 200-300g the bes thing is plan to sell them and start again dont waste your time energy and money feeding them because they will never grow

Catfish farming is good , it can turn fortunes for but it requires principle and doing the right thing.

There is no short cuts there is no overnight millionaires from it , it requires steady learning and growth
