SERMON ! SERMON ! ! SERMON ! !!

Speaker: Elder Anietie D. Inyang
Interpreter: Bro. Effiong Inyang
Topic: Do not despise anyone
Text: Act 10:10-20
B/Ref: Genesis 16:4, Genesis 29:31

NOTE
To despise means to regard another person with contempt. It is to look down on another person. In Apostle Peter’s revelation, he despised the different animals he was presented with an been unholy. Figuratively, these were not mare animals, but the Gentiles, Cornelius’ household who were hungry for God’s salvation. While Peter was preaching to them, Cornelius and his household received the Holy Spirit.

God does not discriminate. He doesn’t judge like we do. The love of God is for all who are willing to identify with him. We were united with the father through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

As Christians, we are meant to associate with one another with love, cheerfulness, humility and honesty. We are to encourage one another and not discourage.

We are commissioned to go into the world and convert the unbelievers to God.Pray with those facing challenges, encourage them with the word of the Lord.

Do not mock or despise anyone because God is the God of all possibility. He is capable of changing any situation at any time. God’s divine though is that of good and not of evil to bring us our expected end.

Scriptural Reading 📖📖📖
Eld. Udeme J. Udoh
Psalms 148:1-14

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.

3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.

4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.

6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.

It's the 10th IDANG AREA WITNESS RALLY.

Today, we have the honour of testifying to the transforming power of Jesus in our lives.
Through His grace, we’ve found forgiveness, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.
We don’t stand here as perfect people, but as real individuals on a journey—willing to share openly and sincerely how Christ continues to shape our lives.

Date: 19th & 20th July 2025
Venue: TACN IDANG District Headquarters

S U N D A Y S E R V I C E || 2nd sun. of August, 2025

SERMON ! SERMON ! ! SERMON ! !!

Speaker: Elder O. E. Effiong
Interpreter: Deacon Nsikak Aniedi
Topic: WHAT WILL GOD REMEMBER YOU FOR?
Text: Act 10 vrs 1-4; Genesis 8 vrs 1-2

Note
Remember means to become aware of (something forgotten) again; bring back to one's consciousness; recall.
“What will God remember you for, will He remember you for good or bad”? What Will God Remember You For? invites deep introspection and reflection on one's life, actions, and relationship with God.

✓When God remembers a man, he’ll receive;
Salvation
God’s blessing
Protection
Deliverance and healing from sickness

Conclusively, the preacher advised the congregation to live right so as God can remember them for their good deeds.
