TOPIC: TESTIMONY: DON'T KEEP SILENT
MORNING CAPSULE

Psalm 124:1-2 — "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side..."

A testimony is an act of thanking God, appreciating Him, and publicly acknowledging His goodness. Every blessing we enjoy comes from God, yet many people find it difficult to testify when God answers their prayers.

In Luke 17:11-19, ten lepers received healing, but only one returned to give thanks. Jesus not only confirmed his healing but also made him whole. Gratitude attracts greater blessings.

When you share your testimony:
✓ You glorify God. (Psalm 107:2)
✓ You build the faith of others. (Revelation 12:11)
✓ You encourage someone to trust God for their own miracle.
✓ You preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
✓ You encourage your pastor and fellow believers to keep praying.

Keeping quiet when God has answered your prayers is a sign of ingratitude. Never hide what God has done for you. If God has blessed you, healed you, protected you, or answered your prayers, testify!

Psalm 66:16 — "Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what He hath done for my soul."

PRAYER: Father, give me a grateful heart and the boldness to testify of Your goodness at all times, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Today, the Man of God, Evangelist EJ Chris, and the entire family of Jesus Liberty Mission, Udomi, joined the family of Brother Justice and Sister Gift in a joyful child-naming ceremony for their newly born baby.

We thank God for the safe delivery of this precious gift and celebrate His faithfulness upon the family. We pray that the Lord will continually protect, preserve, and bless this child with good health, wisdom, favor, and a glorious future.

We also pray for everyone trusting God for the fruit of the womb, that the Lord will remember them and grant them their heart's desires in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF VALUING WHAT YOU HAVE

2 Corinthians 10:12 – "...they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise."

MESSAGE

One of the greatest challenges many people face today is the trap of comparison. Comparison is the act of devaluing yourself and what God has given you while admiring and desiring what others possess.

God created every person with a unique purpose, special gifts, and divine qualities. Every individual carries something special that no one else has. The fact that your gifts, talents, or destiny have not yet fully manifested does not make you inferior to anyone.

Many people lose confidence because they focus on what they lack instead of appreciating what God has already placed within them. Looking down on yourself is one of the strongest weapons Satan uses to destroy personal faith, confidence, and self-worth.

I remember when God instructed me in 2021 to leave Benin City and go to Udomi Community to establish a ministry. At that time, many thoughts flooded my mind. I said to myself, "I have only worked under other ministers. Now God is sending me to start a new ministry. What if I fail? What if I cannot do it? What will people say about me?"

But God made me understand that He had placed special gifts within me that would never manifest unless I stepped out in faith and started something new. I began to study the call of Jeremiah in Jeremiah chapter 1, and from that moment I started seeing myself differently. I realized that if God called me, then He had already equipped me. Like Caleb and Joshua, I became persuaded that I was well able to accomplish what God had assigned to me. That self-encouragement helped me to stand, and it is still sustaining me today.

Every morning when you wake up, stand before a mirror and boldly declare:

"I thank God that I am alive today. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a special creation of God. I carry unique gifts and abilities. I am whom God says I am. I am blessed, favored, and destined for greatness. My season of manifestation is coming."

When you make these declarations in faith, you weaken the voice of discouragement and strengthen your confidence in God. Stop speaking negatively about yourself. Stop comparing yourself with others. Stop looking down on yourself.

Remember, God did not create a duplicate when He created you. You are unique, valuable, and important in His divine plan.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and uniqueness. Help me to appreciate who I am in Christ and to value every gift You have placed within me. Deliver me from comparison, discouragement, and low self-esteem. Let me walk confidently in the purpose You have prepared for my life, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Daily Challenge:

Today, write down five things you appreciate about yourself and thank God for them. Refuse to compare yourself with anyone.

TITLE: LEARN TO SAY "I AM SORRY"

"Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him..."

MESSAGE

Yesterday, while I was at Uromi Market waiting for my wife, I witnessed an incident that taught me a valuable lesson about humility, wisdom, and the power of saying, "I am sorry."

A commercial motorcyclist was being confronted by some traffic officers. They alleged that he had taken a prohibited route, but the rider strongly denied the accusation and demanded evidence. The disagreement quickly attracted the attention of many people around the area.

The officers threatened to take him to the police station unless he admitted wrongdoing and apologized.

At that point, I stepped forward to intervene.

I said to the rider, "My brother, you are working hard today to provide for your family. If these officers take you to the police station, you may end up spending more time and money than you ever planned."

Then I appealed to the officers and said, "Sirs, this man insists that he is innocent, while you maintain that he is guilty. Only God truly knows who is at fault right now. Please allow him to continue his work."

One of the officers replied, "But he refused to say sorry."

The rider immediately responded, "If I say sorry, it means I have accepted the offence."

I smiled and said to him, "No. Refusing to say 'I am sorry' is one reason many relationships have been destroyed. Refusing to say 'I am sorry' has landed many people in situations they never wanted to find themselves."

Saying "I am sorry" does not always mean that you are admitting guilt. Sometimes it simply means that you value peace more than unnecessary conflict. It can prevent a situation from escalating into something bigger and more damaging.

Finally, the rider turned to the officers and said, "I am sorry."

Immediately, they handed back his keys and allowed him to go.

Beloved, the Bible tells us that nothing is hidden from God's eyes. He alone knows the truth in every matter. Many arguments, court cases, broken relationships, and troubled marriages could have been avoided if someone had simply humbled themselves enough to say, "I am sorry."

That argument leading to a police case—learn to say, "I am sorry."

That relationship that is breaking apart because of pride—learn to say, "I am sorry."

That marriage facing serious challenges because neither party wants to apologize—learn to say, "I am sorry."

Remember, saying "I am sorry" does not necessarily mean you are accepting blame. Sometimes it is wisdom. Sometimes it is maturity. Sometimes it is the key that prevents a small issue from becoming a major problem.

Prayer

Father, give me the wisdom to pursue peace, the humility to apologize when necessary, and the grace to avoid unnecessary conflicts. Help me to walk in love, humility, and understanding in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Thought for the Day

A humble "I am sorry" can save a relationship, prevent a conflict, and open the door for peace. Pride destroys, but humility restores.
