Yemi Osibanjo, Aminu Tambuwal, Umo Eno, Martha Udom, others make list for Elite Exclusive Magazine Awards 2022
The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osibanjo, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, her Bayelsa State Conterpat Ambassador Dr Mrs Gloria Diri, leading governorship candidate for the Akwa Ibom State governorship election for 2023, Pastor Umo Eno, are among eminent Nigerians nominated to be honoured by Elite Exclusive Magazine on Wednesday June 22nd, 2022 at Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The Awards will be part of activities to mark the 5th Anniversary of Elite Exclusive Magazine.
According to a press release signed by the Publisher of the Magazine, Mr Mbuotidem Ubom, and made available to the public by the Secretary of the planning Committee Aluu Vincent, “nominees were chosen by members of the public via online based on their track record of service to humanity within the period under review".
The release states that VP Yemi Osibanjo is nominated as Public Servant of the Year, Dr. Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel and Ambassador Dr Mrs Gloria Diri as First Ladies of the Year. The release also states that Pst Umo Eno is Elite Man of the Year.
Others include Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as Governor of the year, Sports Minister, Hon Sunday Dare and Uma Sadiya Farouq as Ministers of the Year. Hon Dr Mrs Beta Edu Apc National Woman leader is being nominated as Woman of the Year, a seasoned serial Entrepreneur Dr Trinity Tom as Business Person of year Also, Prof. Ekele Bisallah Ahmed of University of Abuja Teaching Hospital and Prof. Ememabasi Bassey are nominated as Health Persons of the Year, Obong Patrick Udofia, International President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio and Prof Benjamin Okaba, President of Ijaw National Congress as Life Time Achievers.
In addition, Mrs Mae Edmond Ufang is nominee as Social impact Person of the year, while Dr Mrs Idongesit Etiebiet and Dr Gentle Emela has been nominated as Education Persons of the year.
There will be a Roundtable Discourse titled “Managing Nigeria’s Diversity: The Quest for Effective Leadership in 2023” billed to hold same day.
The event expected to kick off with a red carpet by 4pm, is scheduled to take place at the prestigious Banquet Hall of Nigerian National Merit Award House (Merit House) 22 Aguiyi Ironsi Street Maitama Abuja. And is open for members of the public.
