Or the way you made them feel?

Will they remember that mummy listened?
That daddy was present?
That home felt safe?
That mistakes were corrected with love?

We spend so much time trying to give children things that sometimes we forget to give them memories. ❤️

That was the exact sentence that made me catch my daughter red-handed!

She was sitting quietly behind me, eating the fish I wanted to use for cooking.

I had no idea until I heard:

“Mummy, thank you.” 🥹

Me: wondering why she's thanking me only to turn round to see that; SHE WAS EATING MY FISH! 😭😂

Motherhood is truly a comedy show I didn't audition for.
