Exactly... U are right but it's well with our soul. And some men will say we are lazy
The reason you don’t function properly in your day to day life is because of childbirth.
As a mother you easily forget things,you get confuse with every little thing,your anger mood can easily be triggered,you get restless easily,small activity you start reaching out for the fan or Ac to be powered on,you can no longer stand for too long,small thing just Dey ves you.
Sometimes you question if you are depressed.
Hey stop woman,your problem is being a mother and having to pass through childbirth.
The enemy is having to go through pregnancy and childbirth.
By now you should have heard a woman’s brain shrinks during pregnancy and take some period even years for you to recover,this means each time you pass through childbirth your brain may likely function like that of a child.
Your may not be depressed you just passed through pregnancy.
You are not running m@d you just gave pregnancy a chance.
You may not actually be suffering from any disease you just passed through pregnancy.
Take it easy on your self and don’t forget each time you fall pregnant again you are back to square one.
Healing takes time and this usually happens when you are done with childbirth.
This explains why most women function well in their career,business and day to day life many years after rounding up with childbirth.
You can still be the future Ngozi Okonjo Iwala,Folorunsho Alakija,Hajia Bola Shagaya and the likes of them who are making waves being a woman.
Take it easy on yourself and try to understand the pattern at which your body works.
As a midwife if I’m to change anything it should be the extent at which women suffer just to procreate but we leave that to nature.
