Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen.
(For International Day of the Boy Child 2025).
Theme: Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen.
Young kings, ARISE!!! your voice is like thunder,
No need to shrink and no need to wonder.
The world may try to dim your light,
But stand up tall and claim your right.
Be seen. Not just the mask you wear,
The strength, the tears, the heart laid bare.
True courage isn’t clenched fists tight,
But knowing when to speak your sight.
Be heard. Your words are not just sound,
They move the lost, they break new grounds.
A whisper, shout, or truth in between.
Your voice can shift what others mean.
Stand up. Not just alone in might,
But kindness, wisdom, standing right.
A boy becomes a man who knows,
That his worth is not just muscle shows.
So build yourself, not as stone, but fire,
Not just the role that they may require.
Your heart, your mind, your dreams unseen,
Stand up. Be heard. Be bold. Be seen.

The theme for International Day of the Boy Child 2025 is "Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen." This day, also known as International Boys Day, is observed on May 16th.
The recognition of this day started in 2018, and it's a day to celebrate boys and focus on their well-being, their needs to feel happy, healthy, and valued within family and community.
